Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

Basic technical requirements include a sound system suitable for the venue size, a playback device or audio input (AUX/Bluetooth), and a clear performance area. Basic stage lighting is appreciated when available but not mandatory. A changing room or private space for costume changes is needed.

What information do you require about a venue?

I require basic information about the venue such as the performance area size, stage or floor type, sound system availability, access times, and any technical or schedule constraints. This helps ensure the performance is well adapted to the space and event flow.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

The best gig I’ve ever done was performing at the 20th anniversary concert of David Fonseca at Altice Arena during the COVID period. It was an unforgettable experience performing on such an impressive stage, adapting to new safety measures and circumstances. The best venue I’ve worked at is Altice Arena, for its professional setup and exceptional facilities.

What's your favourite type of event?

I enjoy performing at cultural events, private parties, and celebrations where I can connect with the audience and adapt my dance to the atmosphere of the event.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I started performing and teaching Oriental Dance over 15 years ago, gradually taking part in small local events and private parties. Over time, I expanded to festivals, corporate events, and larger performances. I have gained experience adapting my performances to different audiences and venues.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

I have been influenced by many great artists in Oriental dance, always inspired by their musicality, expressiveness, and stage presence. My favourite artist is Dariya Mitskevich, who combines technique and emotion beautifully. The greatest song of all time for me is one that moves the soul and inspires my performances, such as “Ya Sidi” by Orange Blossom.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

Typical setup time is around 15–30 minutes, depending on the performance and space. Performance durations usually range from 5 to 20 minutes per set, and I can adapt to the event schedule and requirements.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes, I’m happy to perform outdoors, as long as weather conditions and the performance surface are safe and suitable.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

I have a set repertoire of performances, but I am happy to adapt the music and choreography according to the client’s preferences whenever possible. This ensures the performance fits the event and the audience.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Previous clients most commonly describe my performances as elegant, engaging, and emotive. They appreciate the use of props such as veils and LED accessories, the attention to musicality and the connection with the audience.
