The Club Swing Band delivers a high-energy show that blends swing, rhythm & blues, soul, and Italian classics—all reimagined with style, flair, and a touch of irony.
Between dazzling solos and witty stage banter, the band takes the audience on a musical journey that is as sophisticated as it is fun. And if you suddenly find yourself dancing, clapping along, or singing at the top of your lungs... don't worry, it's all part of the plan.
Current lineup (number of members, instruments)
The core lineup of The Club Swing Band consists of a minimum of six members: male lead vocals, guitar, bass, drums, saxophone, and trombone.
Depending on the event's needs, the line-up can be expanded with additional musicians, such as a second guitar, piano/Hammond, and extra horns.
Repertoire (musical genres, sample reference tracks)
Our reference genres range from 1930s-1950s swing, both Italian and international, with incursions into blues, twist, rock'n'roll, reggae, ska, and funk.
Among our Italian inspirations, we cite Renzo Arbore, Fred Buscaglione, Renato Carosone, Natalino Otto, Paolo Conte, and Vinicio Capossela; for the international repertoire, we look to Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Louis Armstrong, Louis Prima, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Brian Setzer, The Blues Brothers, and Ray Charles.
We like to define ourselves as a "punk swing band": our style is perfect for events that require professionalism, elegance, and distinctiveness, but also that pinch of extravagance and madness that has always set us apart over the years.
