I have been playing gigs since 1979. I first started playing in churches, then weddings in high school, then collaborative piano with instrumentalists and singers in college. I also played as a soloist in concerts as well as chamber player for piano trios. I've had jobs as a pianist in restaurants and for parties.

I normally perform for 2 hours. If I am required to bring my keyboard, speakers, and gear, the setup/teardown time before and after takes an hour.
I am happy to play outside, but I ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area
I have a set list, but if I know beforehand, I can incorporate requested songs. I can also focus more on one style than another, adjusting the balance among classical, jazz, and pop.
