JK and the rest of our band were AMAZING! He understood the assignment from the start – we wanted big funk and soul music to keep everyone dancing all night. Great communication throughout, super friendly and welcoming and just wanted to make sure we got the night we had in our mind. The setlist, for both the acoustic and full band set was amazing, and all of the musicians were incredible. They’re not just good musicians, they’re also amazing performers. We had an AMAZING singer who totally got the energy spot on, with everyone really getting into the vibe of the audience and just absolutely getting it. We had the most amazing night, we didn’t stop dancing once and dance floor was full all night. All of our friends have messaged us saying how amazing the band was. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU for helping to make our party the best it could be! Honestly we were all blown away by how good you all were x

Wow wow wow! Such an incredible band who played hit after hit. The lead singer’s voice was exquisite and our guests danced the night away and sang the band’s praises.

JK kept in touch and managed things brilliantly.

We hired The Sugar Grooves for our wedding at the Casterton Grange Estate in July and we highly recommend them for a night of great music and dancing.

Prior to the ceremony and during the drinks reception they performed an acoustic jazz trio which created a perfect vibe for the outdoor reception in the estate’s beautiful garden.

Later in the evening JK and the rest of the band performed two sets of live music that had everyone on the dance floor, including our auntie who is 80 years old!

JK worked with us on creating the perfect set list and was patient and flexible with our requests.

We’d definitely hire them again for our next party.

At one point I was convinced that my IPod was on and turned to see it was the band playing live - that was how good they were. More than that, and what you don't get by playing the IPod, was the energy and enthusiasm of the band. It was infectious and they had the dance floor full all evening. Their music is all well- known dance music. (10 / 10)
