This Rromerican Life is a musical duo from Sibiu, Romania. What makes us different is that we are classically trained musicians that bring non-traditional music to your next event. Our repertoire includes multitude of genres and styles, from American Folk music, to Muzica veche ala Maria Tanase, to popular music hits spanning decades.
But most importantly, we work with our clients to curate a musical evening that reflects what their needs are. We are not a one trick pony, in that we are versitile. We also want to offer our clients a refreshing take on what has become a very much copy and paste industry. If you are looking for alternative musical repertoire at your next event, then we are the group for you.
= areas covered (up to 100 miles)We need a performance space of at least 8 meters x 5 meters. We bring all of our tech and gear with us and are a simple set up. We really just need a power outlet.
We need directions to and from the venue, we also need to know if there is a PA system available or if we should bring our own.
No we do not provide lighting equipment, we do have our own sound equipment.
Yes we are happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We are happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music in advance.
We performed at the Brezoi Blues Festival in 2025 as well as the Holzstock Festival in 2025. Both were incredible for us, huge crowds and a lot of fun. Gigs we won't soon forget.
We love playing at all sorts of events!
We have been making music together for over a decade, and fell into it naturally. After graduating university with degrees in performing arts, we continued to hone our skills on any stage that would have us. We have performed hundreds of gigs together over the years.
We normally arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up. We normally perform 2x 45 minute or 2x 60 minute sets. We are happy to play longer or shorter depending on the clients needs.
We are happy to play outside, but we ask for shade if it is a hot day, and a flat level surface, power supply close to the performance area.
We can learn specific songs before the event, but we reserve the right to come back to the client and say its not possible for instrumental reasons, or if the song(s) requested fall outside our wheelhouse. The clients are more than welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire, or let us choose the music for them.
