Formatia VEXUS VEXUS is a Romanian wedding band from Cluj-Napoca for music and show.

We require a DJ between our sets who comes with sound equipment.

We require the name of the location, the number of guests, and their place of origin (to adapt our Romanian folk music program).

We perform mostly at private gigs (weddings), and all of them are memorable because we give it all our best to turn the event into something truly special that our clients and their guests will remember over the years.

Weddings are our favorite events because most of our experience is with weddings, but we also love performing at birthday parties, baptism parties, business parties, and all other sorts. We love to sing and entertain; this is our passion.

We've started gigging back in 2011, so we have a lot of years of experience behind us that have taught us very important lessons, and we use this experience to make sure the events that we play at turn out perfectly.

We believe all music genres have jewels, and there is no particular artist or song that has influenced us. Good music is the best influence and inspiration.

We adapt to the moment because every set and genre has a certain timing to be performed, which we've learned in years and years of experience.

Yes (and we have already), but we need a flat and stable surface, a power supply, and a cover in case of rain for us and our equipment.

We usually set what we perform and when based on our experience, but we do listen to our client's needs (eg. to not play a specific genre).

To dedicate ourselves 100% to your event, we book only one event per day and always provide a full program that covers the entire duration of the event.

We do not require a specific DJ; sound equipment and DJ services must be provided on-site in order for us to participate at the event, as this is a completely different profession from what we do. However, finding a DJ is generally much easier than finding a band, and the DJ's set is usually short. The DJ only plays music during the band’s breaks and in no way affects our performance.

Since most of the events we perform at are private, unfortunately, we cannot invite you to attend them from the inside. Moreover, the sound you might hear from outside is often muffled, echoing, and does not provide an objective impression of our performance—this is why we do not offer the option of “watching” us from a distance.

We guarantee that our live performance is always at least at the same level as what you see in the videos—and never below it.

The band’s program and repertoire are determined exclusively by us, on-site, based on the audience we are performing for. We do not follow a preset schedule or a fixed song list. Our goal is to make each event as successful as possible, and that can only be achieved by relying on the experience we've gained over time—because no two events are ever the same. When choosing the repertoire, we take into account both the age and the regional background of the guests.

Our performance is more diverse than that of traditional bands, as we blend a wide range of genres including pop, rock, oldies, dance, house, R&B, hip-hop, reggaeton, Latin, blues, jazz, café concert, ethno, as well as authentic traditional music from Transylvania, Maramureș, Banat, Bihor, Moldova, Oltenia, and Muntenia—ensuring that, by the end of the event, everyone leaves happy.
