We are a jazz group from Eagle Rock, featuring young, talented musicians, looking to bring live jazz to your venue in the near future. We have experience playing at several private events and venues. Our sets include a mix of jazz standards, bossa novas, and funky tunes that can be tailored to your preferences to create the perfect atmosphere. We offer fair and flexible rates and work hard to make live music an easy, valuable addition to your space.

The What it Is Jazz collective was formed in October 2024, and we've been continuously playing/gigging ever since. However, members of the group have played together since 2021.
Our collective favorite artist is John Coltrane. His Jazz influence is perceptible in almost every artist's work.
