West Islip String Ensemble is a professional String Quartet group of four men, who are very talented and accomplished performers. We have been performing together for 21 years. Our live String Quartet provides beautiful music to add an elegant touch to your wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, corporate event, Christmas party, or any event that you need live music for. Our group of talented men can play any type of music from sacred hymns to classical, and pop rock songs to make your event most memorable. We offer String Duos (Violin and Cello), String Trios (Violin, Viola, and Cello), and String Quartets (2 Violins, Viola, and Cello), all at affordable prices. Contact us today.

Our repertoire songs list is extremely vast, and is literally hundreds of songs.
We can play "any" song requested from Sacred Christian Hymns, to Pop/Rock, Classical, Classic Rock, and all Contemporary tunes of today.
Four our "String Quartet" we would need an area of approximately 8 to 10 square feet for our performing space.
We need to have chairs for our performance, and be seated near and electrical outlet at the venue.
We provide amplification for all our instruments at no added charge
Yes, we can provide background music between sets.
Performing for a wedding at the Top of The Rock at Rockefeller Center, NYC directly across from Saint Patrick's Cathedral was one of our favorite events.

We arrive 1 hour prior to the event start time, and also accommodate staying longer than scheduled. We love what we do, and enjoy making people happy with our music.
