"East Coast Rockers were awesome at our psrents anniversary party. The communications and organisation from them was brilliant from booking to the clearing away at the end. Their performance was professional, with lots of energy and got everyone up dancing. Our guests really enjoyed them and said what a great night they made it. I would highly recommemd them. "

"The choice of this group for an event in the square proved successful: the four musicians were able to adapt their repertoire to the needs of a heterogeneous audience, alternating engaging and well-known songs with moments of listening that totally captivated the audience. The audience applauded but also danced, letting themselves be carried away by the festive atmosphere and joining in the singing. I definitely recommend them, both for an evening of entertainment and for a real concert of the highest level."

"Dear Fifi, I am so grateful to you, Alex and Olly for the pleasure and fun you brought to my mother. She really loved your amazing performance of many of her favorite songs from her younger days, Michel Legrand fondly recalled! We have both since enjoyed your CDs, with yet more visitors and guests yesterday. You, Alex and Olly can take enormous credit for transforming Friday's happy gathering into a party. I really appreciated your professionalism and adaptability. It left me free to fully enjoy the whole occasion without concern. The special ingredient however was your very own love and enjoyment of performing your music. Magical! A bientot et mille mercis a vous deux, Mark xx"

"If you walked into The Pocket blindfolded last week you might have thought Tom Jones had dropped by to front this power trio. But there's no mistaking why they call Stephen Bailey 'The Wailer', as he fills the room with deep guttural blues you could be back in 50's Mississippi. With a rhythm section tighter than a bungee jumper's harness and keyboard skills that could give Jools Holland a run for his money, these guys mean business! "Brook has come to entertain us at the Hatfield Bowls and Social Club a number of times now. We always eagerly anticipate his return. Despite his youth, he has an incredible way of delivering each song with maturity and depth. The first time we heard him we were all blown away. Very self-effacing, he is more than happy to adapt his set and add in some favourites from the audience. You can't help but find yourself signing along to the golden oldies. Highly recommend!"

"We came across Bella Jazz Quintet while looking for a band for our Anglo-Italian wedding and I am so happy we found them! These guys were simply phenomenal, the performance was great and all the guests still compliment them to this day. From the first exchange of email Hetty was extremely helpful and accommodating, she gave us plenty of her time and went above and beyond to help me through organising everything - from picking a nice set list to helping us hire the best pa system. I have no words to thank these guys enough, as without them the wedding would have not been the same. Lovely people, but mostly absolutely amazing artists."

"My wife and I saw TMI perform at Union Public House this past Saturday. TMI put on a very entertaining show of a good variety of classic rock. Male and female singers and lots of harmonies! Excellent musicianship on drums, guitars, keyboards, etc. We were sitting at a front row table and the sound level was perfect. Not at all overpowering. All in all, it was a very fun time."

"I advertised on here a few weeks back looking for a saxophonist and had quite a few reply’s and suggestions. I went with someone who completely fitted the bill for what we were looking for and man did they not disappoint. We corresponded a lot over the weeks and I couldn’t wait for the day. So yesterday was a ridiculously hot day as we know but this guy gave a top notch performance. So I would like to say a huge thank you to Thomas Ray Hinks for yesterday and would also recommend him to anybody who is looking for a saxophonist. Superb. Hope we get to cross paths again Note: This review was provided via a Facebook post so did not have an associated rating. The client has now booked me again for another corporate event this summer."

"I recently hosted my 21st birthday bash in a marquee with dinner and dancing for a hundred people. I could not have hoped to find a better act. Their music was sensational and they kept the dance floor heaving from the end of supper to the ludicrously early hours. The fact that all my guests remarked on how good the music was speaks volumes . especially considering that the guests' ages ranged from nineteen to ninety. However apart from their music, they were incredibly helpful and pleasant, of whom nothing was too much to ask and they undertook every task asked of them with a smile on their faces. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Kindest regards, Carlos Baird "

"I recently had the opportunity to see gospel Elvis at the Calvary Road Community Church. I was simply mesmerized by the show. The music, lighting, video and spiritual lesson were just wonderful and exactly what I personally needed to witness. I definitely recommend you see one of Todd's shows and hope you are as moved as I was. Thank you for doing what you do Todd! Hope to see another show soon."

"It’s quite possible to stroll right past the place while navigating West Kinzie Street, just a wee bit north of the Chicago River, and not even realize it. The only concrete clue that you’ve arrived at your destination is the sight of a black canvas entrance emblazoned with the curious moniker of the joint. It’s called Untitled, and that handle is purposely nondescript, only adding to the overall mystique of the nightspot. Head down a short flight of stairs, say hello to the doorman (there’s no cover), and you’ll find that Untitled offers a welcoming hideaway from the hustle and bustle of the Loop, which sits only a few blocks south on the other side of the river. During the Prohibition era, speakeasies dotted the Windy City landscape where those so inclined could quaff an alcoholic libation or two while securely hidden away from the long arm of the law. But those long-ago speaks were never this spacious or glamorously appointed. Make no mistake: this is a classy operation all the way, so you won’t spy any tennis shoes or sweatsuits sullying the polished dance floor. When the Rhythm Rockets take the stage at Untitled, as they’ve been doing on the second Wednesday evening of every month for a while now starting at 7:30 p.m. and going strong for three hours, the joint proceeds to jump to a barrage of eminently danceable rhythms. The music meshes perfectly with the delicious food and cool drinks that can be ordered by summoning your lovely waitress. You can dine on such delicacies as steak tartare, sea scallops, and mushroom tortellini, and top your feast off with a scrumptious slice of whoopee pie, a blend of dark chocolate-espresso cake, peanut butter mousse, and powdered sugar. There was a fair amount of dancing happening during the Rhythm Rockets’ most recent Untitled engagement, but most of the sizable crowd was content to soak in the swinging soiree at their tables or from their barstools. The sound quality was exceptionally crisp and full-bodied all night long; Dave Downer’s concise guitar licks sliced through the air with authority, and Nicole Kestler’s delightful vocals were mixed at precisely the right level for maximum enjoyment as she sailed through longtime Rhythm Rockets favorites that included Little Esther’s “Oo Papa Do,” the relaxed pre-war blues lament “Trouble In Mind,” and the band’s scorching arrangement of Ruth Brown’s “(Mama) He Treats Your Daughter Mean” that they often use as a set closer. The sizzling sax section (tenors Michael Bielecki and Vince Salerno and baritone Justin Kierans) was tight and right throughout the evening, and the rock-solid combination of bassist Lou Marini and drummer Mark Fornek kept the grooves hitting on all cylinders. Mark usually sings a song or two on each set prior to Nicole’s entrance, and now he’s previewing a few Chicago blues numbers that he’s also singing with Dave’s new side band, the Five Alibis. Vince switched over to harmonica to give Little Walter’s ominous “I Don’t Play” an authentic Chicago blues sound, although the horns returned when Mark launched into Junior Wells’ playful shuffle “The Things I’d Do For You.” If you’re anywhere near River North on the second Wednesday of this or any month in the near future, take a walk down Kinzie and seek out Untitled, even if you have to look hard for it. It’s altogether worth the effort--and a great place to check out the Rhythm Rockets doing what they do best! "
