"Ruby sang at our anniversary party in 2016, and she made it an absolutely unforgettable evening. She has a fantastic song list ready, and she is happy to learn new songs for you, - even if I must say that her repertoire matches my own favourite songs, so I would be hard pushed to find any additional to request. Ruby covers all sorts of swing and Jazz from the Andrew Sisters to Amy Winehouse, dance music from cha cha cha to rock ‘n roll plus also Beatles and Bowie and other styles of music. All delivered with Ruby's own touch. Some of them much better than the originals. On top of it all, she made me aware of another brilliant singer, the Dutch Caro Emerald, as Ruby sings a couple of Caro’s songs. To have Ruby singing was, to quote a Caro Emerald song: “I have never dreamed, dreamed a night like this” I would definitely recommend Ruby for any party, birthday, wedding, anniversary or the like."

"The Long Players were a fantastic evenings entertainment for all our guests, they got people up and moving about whilst still entertaining the more reserved who sat back enjoying the music. They were professional from start to finish and and we received nothing but positive words from our guests about how enjoyable they were. Many thanks to Lee throughout the whole booking process and the whole band for the evening. I would not debate booking you again or recommending you to anyone."

"Our long-awaited Dinner & Dance took place last night in the village of Hinton St George, Somerset. The live music from The 19Sixties was excellent and far exceeded our expectations! We’ve had some wonderful feedback today from our revellers. What talented people Russ, Garf & Wayne are! They had most of us up on the dance floor for over two hours! They have a special talent and we will definitely be booking them again in 2020 for another return to the 1960s!! Who needs a time machine!! We REALLY recommend them!"

You took our favourite songs and made them into beautiful classical versions and we could not believe how amazing they sounded as I walked down the aisle! "Since 2011, the band has a new focus. First, it is commissioning the legendary Bill Dobbins, to write sample arrangements from his famous “Evolution of Jazz Piano”, a series of movements based on the tune “All of Me”. Secondly, is breaking in it’s new vocalist, 19 year old sensation, Lindsey Holland. The band currently has over 60 arrangements for her to sing, including selections from Nancy Wilson’s disc with Cannonball Adderley. Furthermore, we have a Christmas Set now for her to sing, as well as many straight ahead jazz standards. The hope is for this group to record both of these projects sometime in the future."

"Ruby was so professional in her preparation and presentation. She kept contact with us prior to our celebration so we felt confident the evening would go well. She also contacted the DJ we had booked to ensure the evening went without a hitch. But most of all her performance our family and Friends are still talking about the evening. If anyone asks us to recommend Ruby the answer would be a huge YES. A Lovely lady with with a lovely voice. You made our evening Thank You."
