"Mick drew 11 of us for place settings for xmas dinner. Done a fantastic job, very funny and very alike. I sent him a couple of pics of each guest for him to work from and they are amazing as if he was right in front drawing each perso, he captured every detail. Mick kept me updated along the way and with postage and delivery which was very quick. Would definitely recommend him. I laminated the card and stuck them on art easels."

" Everyone loved him! Chris attended our wedding on 13th July 2024 in Shrewsbury and he was amazing!! All of our guests have said how fantastic his drawings were, there were queues for his drawings all night, everyone loved him! It was an absolute pleasure to have him there, and can’t thank him enough!"

"Ivo was our caricature for our wedding reception. He turned up on time and all guests enjoyed the pictures that he did. It’s a great memorabilia for them. We have our picture and will definitely be framed and will be something else to remember from our special day."

"Kathy did such an amazing job at our company event. We hired her for a multi-day tradeshow and she was wonderful. We received so many compliments and she definitely helped drive traffic to our booth. She was extremely professional and communicative and did such a great job at the event. Kathy was lovely to work with and if we are anywhere near New Orleans in the near future, we'll definitely give her a call!"

"Kathy has an amazing skill and helped to share that with our school today where we had 1,000 students join us for a spring carnival. We were so please Kathy was able to help draw caricatures of the students as she is not only super talented but some of our students stated they've never had the opportunity previously to have a caricature drawn of them. I thought, how cool is that not only that we're able to provide a student an entirely new experience but to also have someone with her talent and expertise be the person to do this for us! She was wonderful! Showed up on time prepared to spend a full day drawing caricatures for our students and did so with a smile on her face. Thank you Kathy for all of your help. Yesterday I got fed both spiritually and materially at Soweto’s Just Badela eatery when I attended a heart-warming joint jazz presentation by Just Badela & ‘EXPRESSIONS by Siphiwe Mhlambi’ – the latter is an event series that capture the soul of jazz through Mhlambi’s evocative photography that blends rhythm and emotion into his every frame. I can right now without any whiff of doubt declare that the event lived up to its brand promise of delivering “an unforgettable afternoon with the legendary Herbie Tsoaeli, the master of double bass and a pioneer in South African jazz” to a full-house sit-down audience. (Indeed I) experience(d) the soul-stirring melodies and rich rhythms that have captured audiences around the world.” Nico Phooko was drawing inspiration from the music and the soul-caressing ambience by live painting a piece that will become a new addition to his “Notes & Strokes” series. The MC was Ngwako Malakalaka from Kofifi FM. We had the opportunity to witness Mhlambi autographing copies of our recently published book, “Rhythms in Black & White: A Virtual Journey Through the World of Jazz”, to happy revellers. Another illustrious author/publisher, Sam Mathe, manned a table selling his book too, “From Kippie to Kippies And Beyond”, on whose pages live our musicians. We do appreciate the platform that Just Badela provides to independent publishing and art . "

"Mikey was excellent. I would highly recommend him to everyone to come along to their party. The pictures were so true to life, whilst being very funny. He was highly adaptable and happy to do pictures of couples together if they wanted too - and a dog was even allowed in one! :)"

"Rob was fantastic at our wedding. He was great with communication beforehand and was flexible with timings. We absolutely loved our portrait that we received prior to the wedding - although my husband didn’t see this until the wedding day so as not to spoilt any details of my dress. All our guests loved Rob’s pictures and they were very realistic. There was a queue forming at one stage as they became very popular! I also found Rob to be very friendly throughout and would definitely recommend him. "

He was fantastic - unobtrusive, funny, flattering, very talented and everyone who had a picture absolutely loved it!"

"We had a birthday party for several family members and invited Kathy to do drawings, kind of like a special treat for those attending. What a success, as she is so talented and made the evening so much fun. Not only is she an artist, but a fun personality as well."
