"We are over the moon with HI Fi Drive By. Brilliant communication throughout the booking process. Many of our guests have been asking about the band. The dance floor was busy from the very beginning. They were so good with our guests, and they even learned some special requests for us. We definitely got the perfect band for us. "Absolutely outstanding band both as live performers in their own right and in doing "Bandeoke" to make normal folk feel like rock stars by singing with them for the evening. They performed both of these at our wedding on 22.06.2018 and made our night go down a storm! Could not recommend them any more. Thanks so much."

"Dear Stephane, Just back from our second honeymoon and wanted to let you know that we have had so many positive comments from our guests regarding the band. They really were amazing! The music was brillant, the engagement with the audience absolutely awesome! I've never seen my friends and family have such a good time (and we've thrown a few parties in our time!). We would definitely recommend Captain Star, they are a 5 star act. Thank you doesn't really cut it, but just THANK YOU! Thank you so much Stephane for finishing off the best day of our lives with the best entertainment x Kind regards."

"The party had a Gatsby theme. Final Edition band dressed the part and as the guests arrived Gatsby music was playing to create the mood. The guests were aged from 6 to 80 and the band played songs from the 50's to current date. The feedback from the guests was great and a number of people requested their business card. All in all a fun evening ! "

"Chris & Andy helped us out at short notice when an act cancelled on us due to Covid. We also had a poor night weather wise for the event , but it was reasonably well attended & all that did attend enjoyed themselves . Chris & Andy played a range of music that suited r the ages of the people that came & all who did come were impressed by the quality of music Chris & Andy played . We will be looking to book Chris & Andy again without doubt ."

"We were so excited to have Big Smoke at our wedding having had to postpone and it was definitely worth the wait. They were fantastic keeping our guests entertained during our drinks reception. This continued in the evening - many guests said they’d never seen so many people on the dance floor at one time! They guys are great and everyone loved them. The communication leading up to the day was great and they were happy to play the songs we really wanted as well as leaving off those we didn’t really like too much. We would highly recommend Big Smoke Brass!"

"Where to even start?! WOW! We’re honestly all still buzzing! What a night we all had on Saturday! Honestly, it was so, so special for us and you guys were the biggest part of that. I knew you were going to be amazing but you were amazing AND THEN SOME! It’s so lovely to hear that you were all loving life too – that means a lot! I just can’t thank you enough personally for all of your help and advice in the lead up to the party – you’ve been so helpful, accommodating and reassuring the whole time and just been so nice to be in touch with! It’s been such a pleasure! And again on the day you were a complete star and took so much work away from us as we literally didn’t have to worry about you guys – you had it all in hand, even the clearing up – naughty! Haha! Please pass on our sincere thanks to Dale and the whole band who are all so super talented, and so super fun! They absolutely made our night! I had high expectations and they smashed them! I have to give a shout out to our singers (Dee and Mel was it?!), I mean how incredible were they?! So much charisma and sass- I think I’m actually obsessed with them haha! Not forgetting the Swing Singer and Quartet you also provided. Amazing! Thanks for making it such a special night for us and our guests – you knocked all of our socks off! We will absolutely be recommending you to anyone and everyone (!) and wouldn’t hesitate to book you guys again for any future event that we’re having. You should all be so proud of the overall package you provide as a band – it’s unique and it’s special. THANK YOU for everything. "We wanted a small intimate gathering so we only invited 15 guests. Jose Luis and I are old high school buddies and since he was in town we wanted to come play for me and my wife. I’d be the first time I’d see him play since high school. So he came and set up, talked with some of the guests and we all felt like close friends. He starts off the backing track, Then all of a sudden he starts playing. My gosh the room got full of beautiful music! Not loud but abundantly pleasurable. We and our friends were impressed. He played English & Spanish tunes, old and new. One guest told me’ “He’s so good. Makes me wish I would have picked up an instrument in high school and learned to play!”. Between songs he’d talk to the audience and put everyone at ease. He’d tell us stories about the next tune and they were all #1s! At the end of the night we all had a great time. No one left early. One guest said, “can’t wait to see him again! When is he coming back??”. We’ll we’re working on that! Unforgettable evening!"
