" Review received on 3/14/2024 Mario Manzini's "Tribute to Houdini" show is a must see. Mario is challenged by local police to escape their handcuffs and does so in record time while secured in a cloth sack. His comedy magic show is great and uses members from the audience as volunteers/committee members to assure the rest of the audience that everything is on the up and up. Mario even levitates an audience participant while surrounded. The escape show is terrific. Mario liberates himself from a plethora of bonds including, but not limited to; 100 feet of rope, a leather straight jacket, multiple handcuffs and leg irons, and a large Milk Can filled with water (as Houdini himself used). I have been a professional magical entertainer for 25 years and can tell you that Mario Manzini's 30+ years as an escapist and magician have made him one of most talented in this field. When the opportunity arrives and Mr. Manzini is playing anywhere near your location purchase tickets at once. You will enjoy every minute of the show." "An atmospheric and Christmassy decorated theatre café forms the setting for this year's Yes Jazz Christmas Matinée. It is pleasantly busy. Many music lovers choose the warmth of the Yes Jazz theatre café of De Hofnar on this cold Sunday afternoon. Gipsy jazz is popular and Christmas music always goes down well. When these two come together, you can of course count on a special afternoon. And that is what it will be. The music is beautiful. A beautiful singer and three excellent musicians ensure a beautiful Christmas Matinée. This quartet clearly shows that many different types of music can be cast in the mould of the gipsy style. Django Reinhardt resonates in everything. The tight foundation is audible in Ronald Weel's rhythm guitar and on Daniël Gueli's double bass. You can build on this. The solo guitar and the singer provide the leading parts. Marcia Bamberg stands out because of her clear voice: crystal clear and velvety soft where necessary. The improvisations of the solo guitarist, John Lighart, are smooth and inventive. Sometimes very virtuoso. The repertoire is especially very versatile. From French chansons to well-known jazz standards. Of course, the big Christmas hits are not missing. Night and Day, After you’ve gone, but also Belle Histoire and La vie en rose come in beautiful arrangements from the Yes Jazz stage. Christmas has started well! "

"Die John Paul Band hat unsere Hochzeit musikalisch auf ein ganz neues Niveau gehoben. Stilvolle Musik zum Dinner und eine unglaubliche Partystimmung später am Abend. Die Tanzfläche war durchgehend voll und die Gäste waren begeistert. Sehr professionell, sympathisch und absolut empfehlenswert."

"We used Stephan as the ceremony and cocktail hour musician at our wedding in September 2019. Our wedding venue didn't allow any outdoor amplified music, so we needed to find a musician to play at our wedding. I looked at various violinists, harpists, and guitarists, but once I heard Stephan's music, I knew I wanted him at our wedding. He was professional, quick to respond to emails, and his pricing was very reasonable. He worked with the amplified noise restriction and his music ended up being a wonderful addition to our ceremony and cocktail hour. You won't be disappointed if you pick Stephan for your wedding music!"
