"Stevie is a very professional entertainer who entertained our group and kept them dancing well past midnight, even though the average age was over 65. He arrived in good time to set up and even provided an extra mic for me to make the announcements. Would definitely hire him again and recommend him for any function. "Bobbie is absolutely amazing, she played at our garden party/ coffee morning, she totally had the place rocking. Her singing voice is amazing , we could have listened to her all day, her music set was tailored to us , she also played all requests. She is very much an entertainer as she engages well with all her audience. Will definitely book her for all parties we have, and I would highly recommend her."

"I hired Dave to entertain a small party of 16 people for a special birthday. Our guest list ranged in age from 25 to 85, and it's fair to say that everyone enjoyed his music and entertaining style. Dave was incredibly communicative about logistics, flexible on set list and accommodated a few special requests. His set up was brilliant - lighting, sound and acoustics were great - and it worked well even inside a small room with a lot of people. If you're looking for upbeat entertainment and a "one-stop shop" for a gathering (large or small), I'd highly recommend giving him a call. "I had the privilege of watching The Band down Under perform live at a wedding that I was attending. From the out set, I was blown away. In my previous experience of the many weddings that I’ve attended, most entrances are boring and cliche and the DJ’s are no better. These guys however brought an immediate energy to the room that I have not seen matched thus far. I’m usually not one to get up and dance at weddings, however they set a mood that I had never seen. The whole floor was up and dancing, without a single butt planted to a seat. It’s a real testament to the bands professionalism , their unique talent and undeniable natural energy they bring. Following the wedding, in conversations had with others, similar things were said which proved to me it wasn’t just the alcohol talking. If my wife and I knew about these guys earlier, we would have hired them for our wedding. My wife actually turned to me during the event and said “They were the missing piece to our wedding”. Although I wish to use them in the future, I’m not planning on getting remarried lol ! However I wouldn’t hesitate recommending them to anyone wanting a funky, talented and unique band to make the most of your special day and entertain your guests. It’s important to note that I’m also not one to write reviews as I find most things extremely underwhelming, especially bands. So the fact that I’m writing this says a lot about my experience and the way you guys made me feel on the night."

"Fantastic band ! Played songs that suited the crowd! They knew everything off by hand and were able to accompany me singing a song! Very atmospheric - lovely energy to have in ones house ! Definitely hire again for any function! "
