"Big Smoke Brass played at one of our Freshers’ events in September, and they were absolutely wonderful. The music was phenomenal, but equally their professionalism and efficiency were spot on. They made managing a very stressful event, considerably more enjoyable. I’ve already booked them for our Oktoberfest, and will be looking for other opportunities to employ them again. These boys are incredibly talented and deserve to go far. On behalf of Trinity Laban Students’ Union, thank you so so much for your brilliant performance!"

"I go to el Mercado District with my family, and I love hearing Dr. Saxy play. No matter what song he plays, he always seems to bring the right kind of vibe. He can get people up to dance or even just interacting with him when he plays. It is obvious he is very talented. "

"A massive thank you to The Cheers Function Band who provided the evening music at our wedding. The communication was excellent throughout and made the whole process very easy. The band were fantastic and kept everyone on the dance floor all night. Would highly recommended!"

"Absolutely fantastic! We originally booked a DJ - decided 6 months before our wedding to book Relative Cool, and boy were we pleased we did! This band are truly fantastic, they were the icing on the cake of an amazing day! I would recommend anyone booking this band! They really got the party going! "The Cheers were amazing, I hired them for my wedding and I cannot recommend them enough. From start to finish there communication was excellent. They spoke with the venue directly and created a stress free experience for me. They answered any question I had, and had a very handy guide to use for timings and common questions from their previous experience. They were brilliant. The band itself is awesome, everyone at the wedding came and asked me where I found the band, they got everyone up and dancing. We had a male and female singer, both were excellent. The song choice they made, had everyone laughing, and bouncing around. You know there brilliant when the venue asked for their details to recommend them to other couples :D I have nothing bad to say, professional throughout, great communication and the music was just perfect. They also learnt our 1st dance song and smashed it out the park. Thanks Ben and the whole band, It was magical Roxanne & Matthew Langley."

"The Big Smoke Brass guys certainly know how to put on a show! Familiar and well-loved pop songs played in a way you definitely won’t have heard before. Thoroughly entertaining and never lacking in energy, enthusiasm and swagger. They clearly love playing their instruments and it shows. Dispense with the boring DJ or the covers band you’re thinking of and get them instead. "

"I first heard Sheldon perform, by chance one night at the V&A Waterfront. My 40th birthday was coming up 3 months later, and I knew I had to have Sheldon perform. I was blessed with an absolutely perfect day, for an “island vibe” pool party at the beautiful Anew hotel in Greenpoint. Sheldon was phenomenal! He carefully selected a playlist to fit in with my pool party theme, he was accommodating, friendly and an absolute professional. My guests LOVED his performance, and I had the most amazing 40th birthday! I can highly recommend Sheldon for any occasion – you will not be disappointed. Jeanine Smith"
