"Thank you for the most wonderful evening of music and entertainment on Saturday. Dr Jazz were EXACTLY what we were after and we have thoroughly enjoyed listening to your cd too! You were highly praised by our guests too and we shall certainly recommend you (and hopefully book you again ourselves!)"

"I have booked a lot of musicians for events over the years and Scott is up with the best of them. Communication was easy, his approach was very helpful and the music he played was perfect to add a degree of class to our event. I will hopefully be able to employ him at our next party. Thanks, Amanda."

"Good band, nice repertoire and all music is danceable for Lindy Hop/Charleston. Always a fun party when they play. It really gives you happy feet."

"I was nervous about booking a band because there are so many options out there, but I wish I had never spent any time worrying. Gatsby Cats are EXCELLENT. They surpassed any possible expectation I had, and everyone at the wedding loved them. Their set list was perfect and the musicians were genuinely nice professionals. Thank you so much."

"Just returned from the show at Stamford this evening 22 Nov. Outstanding musical ability, total enthusiasm and hard work, which produced a sound which defied any attempt to keep your hands or feet from moving! They love their music and it showed. It was an superb evening and I will be back."

"Rosie was an absolute star. She was technically brilliant (beautiful voice) and when she was let down by the sound system completed her set unaccompanied. Her professionalism and un-flappability in the face of difficulty was very impressive. Would strongly recommend. "

"An atmospheric and Christmassy decorated theatre café forms the setting for this year's Yes Jazz Christmas Matinée. It is pleasantly busy. Many music lovers choose the warmth of the Yes Jazz theatre café of De Hofnar on this cold Sunday afternoon. Gipsy jazz is popular and Christmas music always goes down well. When these two come together, you can of course count on a special afternoon. And that is what it will be. The music is beautiful. A beautiful singer and three excellent musicians ensure a beautiful Christmas Matinée. This quartet clearly shows that many different types of music can be cast in the mould of the gipsy style. Django Reinhardt resonates in everything. The tight foundation is audible in Ronald Weel's rhythm guitar and on Daniël Gueli's double bass. You can build on this. The solo guitar and the singer provide the leading parts. Marcia Bamberg stands out because of her clear voice: crystal clear and velvety soft where necessary. The improvisations of the solo guitarist, John Lighart, are smooth and inventive. Sometimes very virtuoso. The repertoire is especially very versatile. From French chansons to well-known jazz standards. Of course, the big Christmas hits are not missing. Night and Day, After you’ve gone, but also Belle Histoire and La vie en rose come in beautiful arrangements from the Yes Jazz stage. Christmas has started well! "
Dick Hermsen (Yes Jazz)

"While I’m here, a quick word of thanks for Trip for Biscuits. The music at our wedding at Maunsel House was amazing as was the energy from the band. We have received so many compliments from our guests and everyone had a great time (as you can see from the videos now posted on the website!!!)"
