"It was a brilliant set. Lorraine looked stunning and her voice is amazing. The Flames are incredibly talented. The repertoire contained a beautifully composed selection. The introductions to each song were thoughtful and gave added insight. It was a marvellous evening! I will definitely be at Lorraine and the Flame's next performance. "I had this band play at my wedding the other Saturday and they were amazing! Even though we just had the 3 piece band (2 guitars and bass) they sounded amazing and everyone loved them! Fitted perfectly with our venue and relaxed style of wedding. The guys were superb and very professional and I didn't have to worry about them at all. I even got time to stand there and appreciate them for awhile :) Would highly recommend these guys!"

"These guys were absolutely amazing. We had them at our wedding in the afternoon, they made our wedding even more special and set the tone to be a very classy garden party. They were lovely and played great tunes and really made our day and our wedding; would recommend and then recommend again. Even played Disney."

"A rare sitar player who is performing traditional khmer music. It's always great to see and meet a typical khmer orchestra at weeding. Some are using MP3 or Youtube. Performing there is this interactivity. "

Hiya, thank you. Yes in some wedding ceremonies, there is no musicians and instead tunes from the machines such as Youtube are played. The atmosphere is different we can notice. Having a live performance is always better.

"Michelle's Birthday Party - excellent jazz band, very classy, perfect for the event in question. It's nice to see a band which does things so simply and professionally, providing a full sound with the minimum of equipment. They were happy to play to the room when people were eating and talking, at a volume which still allowed conversation, but were friendly and engaging as and when people wanted to interact with them. The singer they provide (if required) has a great voice, well matched to their style, no over-acting or dramatic self indulgence, just confident, strong and pitch perfect. Great day, thank you."

"Rosie was great to work with from booking stage, on the night and post event. Our guests really enjoyed themselves as they were transported back to the 1920’s era and set the mood for the rest of the evening. Would highly recommend Decatur Street Jazz for future events!"

"Jack and the guys provided a perfect end to a perfect wedding day. The trio of double bass, saxophone and keyboard were exceptional – providing jazz after dinner background music. Really nice guys and really great music. I would definitely book them again!"
