"We had them for our wedding in July and they were brilliant. They were worth every penny and created a great atmoaphere for the evening. They even performed our choice of first song, with no pre-warning before the day. "

"Thanks to Surefire Trio for a great night. When we spoke in the build up to the wedding, I mentioned that our guests had a wide range of musical taste but you guys were brilliant and the toughest critic of all (our 6yr old) loved every minute. We appreciate how you made the evening complete and all the support in the build up. I could not recommend the band highly enough."

"Luna and Stefan gave a fantastic performance at our wedding. Stefan’s music during the ceremony was spot-on, and the combination of Stefan and Luna during the cocktail hour was perfect. They chose just the right songs and tuned into the atmosphere of the room. Our guests, and we ourselves, thoroughly enjoyed the live music and the talent of Luna and Stefan."

"I cannot rate Mike Goodrick highly enough. He was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish and I look forward to finding another event when I can hire him. I work in television and have a history in music and production (translation: I am extremely picky with high expectations). When I spoke to Mike, I just knew that he was the right fit. I couldn't be more pleased that I chose them. We heard endless rave reviews about them the entire evening and for weeks following the wedding."

These guys were awesome and made the evening go so smoothly...their sets were ace and the display they provided fitted in perfectly with our theme for the night... "We organised The Cheers to play at our wedding in September 2018, and it was one of the best decisions of the day. I think there are three reasons why I would recommend them: 1. The music is great - The Cheers played a selection of oldies and new music to cater to the tastes of all our guests. We had a lot of kids and they even played some things purposefully to get them on the dance floor with their parents - a lovely touch. They are very talented musicians (with credentials!) and made everything sound great in our venue, even though they only had a short time to sound-check. We received numerous compliments that the band were excellent. They learnt our first dance perfectly and performed it exactly how we wanted. Just fantastic. 2. They are very professional - Our speeches and breakfast overran by about 45 minutes, but the band were extremely accommodating and calm about the delay. They setup extremely quickly to get us back on track and they were thoroughly proficient in breaking down at the end. They brought all their own equipment and everything looked and sounded great. 3. They were very easy to work with - Even though we didn’t meet the band until the day of the wedding, they were extremely easy and pleasant to deal with. Our main point of contact was Ben (the band manager) who was charming, quick to respond to calls and messages and very helpful. Formal arrangements were quick and professional and the entire interaction went very smoothly. Overall, the experience of hiring and hearing The Cheers was faultless. Thank you so much for rounding off our special day with fantastic entertainment."

"We hired The Cheers for a joint 50th birthday party on 10th August 2024 and were super impressed with the band from the very start of communication with Ben to the very end of the party. A big thanks to Ben for making the organisation process so easy and creating a really personable experience; and thanks to the rest of the band who were incredible and extremely talented! We got so much good feedback from everyone throughout the night and the biggest tell tale was the amount of people up dancing, smiling and having a fantastic time, so much that they didn't want the band to stop playing - the saxophonist was also a fabulous way to start the evening off - music can make or break a party and we definitely got it right by going with The Cheers!"
