Ginger & Tonic specialise in staging Tiny Room Concerts exploring rock n roll icons and themes with a strong Blues & Jazz sound. Instrumental mix includes: Double Bass, Bass Guitar, Flute, Alto & Tenor Saxophone, Keyboard, Lead Guitar, Drums, Vocals and chimes.
With a number of shows on offer Ginger & Tonic are able to offer an ever growing mix of repertoire from Janis Joplin to Elvis Presley, Led Zeppelin to Cyndi Lauper, Stevie Nicks to Ozzy Osbourne among many others.
Our themed shows and live music sets are a great choice for lounge or seated events through to Gala’s wanting to fill a dance floor. Based in the Southern Lakes District of New Zealand, we are dedicated to providing top-notch entertainment for all occasions.

We love playing at all sorts of events, but performing our Tiny Room (themed/tribute) Concerts to a seated audience is our specialty. We love entertaining an audience with great music and comedy.
We started our Tiny Room Concerts in 2021 at The Blue Door Bar in Arrowtown, and now have 10 x 60min shows to choose from and an extensive repertoire combining all the music from Elvis Presley and Janis Joplin through to Cyndi Lauper, Led Zeppelin, Ozzy Osbourne and more!
Elvis Presley, Led Zeppelin, Janis Joplin & Stevie Nicks: The King, Queen, and Giants of Rock & Roll.... Hard to pick a favourite song but any song with a great Guitar solo always impresses like Ozzy's Crazy Train and Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven!
We arrive 2hrs before the performance to set up and soundcheck. Our Tiny Room Concerts are 60minutes in length or we normally perform up to 3 x 50minute sets which can be altered to suit the occasion. We also also require a green room for costume/make up etc.
We are happy to perform outside with our regular sets but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance. For our Tiny Room (themed) Concerts, we require a staged area with a seated audience.
We can learn specific songs before the event but usually limit this to 4 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a setlist from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them. If you are booking a Tiny Room Concert the music cannot be changed as it follows a storyline.
A highly entertaining act that dresses to theme and interacts with the audience using intriguing storytelling and incredible musicianship to deliver a night to remember!
