"Phill Marshall is by far the best John Lennon Tribute in Britain. He is famous for his likeness with Lennon himself and his "electrifying" performances. It’s like watching John Lennon himself coming back to life. You shut your eyes and can hear John then you open your eyes and bang, he’s there. The voice, the mannerisms and John Lennon’s wit all in one. He does shows with a mix of pre-recorded backing tracks and fully acoustic numbers playing all the Beatles top hit songs and also Lennon’s solo career most famous numbers. Audiences in Britain have been mesmerised by his performances. The song list includes also hit numbers sang by Paul, George and Ringo, basically a night with all your favourite Beatles and John Lennon solo career songs. “Phill performs regularly at The Cavern and he never fails to attract a great crowd. "Excellent musician. Great voice! Chris arrived promptly and set his equipment up with no hassle. Sang a variety of great songs and was keen to take requests and play on longer to ensure we got great value for money for our couple of hours. Would be more than happy to recommend him and would book again without hesitation."
