Review Centre: Choirs

"Get Gospel sang at the Celebration of my husband’s life, attended by over 300 people. It was an emotional occasion, but one which I intended to be uplifting, and reflective of his huge vitality and vibrant spirit. A gospel choir had been Nick’s request, some months previously, and it was really important to me that I delivered on that. In fact, Get Gospel delivered - they were fabulous. The afternoon was full of joy, laughter and tapping feet. Jules was great to work with when planning the music, responding to my (many) questions and sending me lots of clips of the choir in action; and the performance on the day was magical. Nick would have loved it. Thank you so much for making a difficult day so very wonderful."

"Thank you so much to you and your fellow choir members. It was so lovely to have you all and the guest feedback for you guys was amazing, although I feel short changed and therefore wish I could’ve been a guest, so I could’ve heard you before the wedding too!! You guys were amazing, our friends have filmed parts of the wedding as you were singing, of which Phil and I keep listening to over and over again. The Joker and the Queen was particularly amazing, thank you for learning that and putting your own take on it."

Jules was incredibly helpful to organise the studio and group for us, and the record went so smoothly. We highly recommend this choir group for any singing needs!"

"Collectives Gospel Choir performed at our wedding, both in the church and during our drinks reception and we were completely blown away by them! We first heard the choir perform at a wedding open day and we instantly knew that we wanted them to be a part of our day! They were absolutely incredible and guests are still talking about them now! Thank you so much to Laura and the choir - it was such a special part of our wedding. Laura was extremely helpful in the run up to the wedding too. We would not hesitate to recommend Collectives Gospel Choir to anyone. We will be keeping an eye out for any of their future performances!"

"I was looking for a Saxophone player for an intimate birthday dinner for my dad's 70th birthday. I found Daniel on Gig Heaven, and was skeptical because I'd never used the site before. However, Daniel was very swift in his responses and also answered all my questions on our initial call. He did a fantastic job on the day and really made the event an enjoyable one. All the guests commented on how good he was and I truly feel he made the event a huge success. I would 100% recommend Daniel for anyone looking for a Saxophone player for their event. He's punctual, reliable and extremely professional."

"VWGC made our church ceremony magical! Everybody commented how happy they looked and how wonderful they were. I sang and smiled the whole way through the ceremony thanks to them. "what can I say you were just amazing, the amount of comments we’ve had on you all is unbelievable, the guests were blown away by how talented you were, it honestly was the most surreal experience walking into that church with your voices filling it and it’s something I will never ever forget and cherish forever, thank you so much for making our special day an experience that myself and John and every one of our guests will never forget. I think we’re going to be disappointed at the next wedding we go to after ours 😂 my only regret is that you couldn’t stay longer I could’ve listened to you all night, you were just incredible! "From the moment we heard the choir at a wedding fair we knew we needed them at our wedding, especially when they started performing my favourite wedding song (September by Earth, Wind and Fire). The correspondence with Laura was brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. The choir performed outside at our wedding reception which was just perfect, setting the tone for the party atmosphere we wanted to create throughout the day. The guys have incredible voices and everyone said how amazing they sounded and performed the right songs on our day, including our favourites!! Thank you Sounds of Gospel for contributing towards our special day, we will definitely have you back for our next party! "

"Hiring Collectives Gospel Choir for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! We first saw them at a wedding fair and were blown away, we emailed for a quote thinking there was no way they would be within our budget but we couldn't believe how reasonable they are and instantly booked. From start to finish Laura was super helpful and responsive with emails, nothing was asking too much and they were happy to do anything we asked, she made the whole process really easy and stress free. On the day our guests were so shocked (in a good way!) when they walked into the venue to them performing. We had comments all day about them and are still getting people now texting us about how amazing they were. People were literally gasping at some of their vocals and people were in tears. The whole choir were also super friendly and smiley, I was petrified stood at the bottom of the aisle but each time I glanced over at them I was given the biggest smile and it really put me at ease. If anybody's ever debating to book please take my word for it that they will be, by far, the best decision you make."
