Review Centre: Marching Bands

"For my 40th, I had a 1920s themed party in a beautiful 1920s ballroom in Letchworth Garden City. I can honestly say that the absolute HIGHLIGHT of the party was the 5 piece Silk Street Jazz band. I felt like I had stepped back in time. They were absolutely wonderful – truly superb – and contributed to one of the very best nights of my life. They were extremely professional, flexible and accommodating (even happy to accompany a last minute request from my husband to sing with them!) and really looked dapper in their gorgeous red waistcoats. They did an outstanding job – what a talented group of gents! Thank you Silk Street Jazz"

"The Ambrassadors were the perfect soundtrack to PeerFest, an annual event celebrating mental health peer support. The band were really professional and accommodating, playing a series of sets throughout the day and being amenable to changes in the performance space. Highly recommend these guys!” "

"Just to say a huge thank you for the gig on Saturday – which was clearly very well received by the audience. There’s a comment on FB asking if you’ll come back and the customer saying (yesterday afternoon) that she is still smiling! Although I’ve seen you guys a few times, I really thought it worked very well at Ashcroft and it was the best gig I’ve seen. You are all such talented, wonderful musicians individually in your own rights, but the chemistry was fantastic. It felt like we had experienced something very special and unique. The playfulness and sense of enjoyment and fun was contagious. Thank you – and please do pass on my thanks to all the band. It was absolutely fantastic to have such an exciting welcome for our audience members and everyone was buzzing! It was the perfect way to kick off the evening's entertainment! In fact many people said it was a shame that you only played for 15minutes and would have happily listened to you for hours! You were absolutely professional in your presentation and the music was absolutely stunning. "The Käse Chiefs performed at our Oktoberfest party and were extremely well received playing to a packed crowd. They kept everyone engaged through the music and games all night. "Words can’t describe how incredible Marcello and the whole band were for our wedding, 23/5/2026. I feel emotional just writing the review! From the moment I contacted Marcello, his professionalism and attention to detail has made me feel extremely special and valued, his communication was exceptional and he truly put in the time and effort to make our day magical, even playing “Here Comes the Sun” by the Beatles for us as a special nod to our Liverpool roots. The band looked impeccable, so stylish in their suits and sunglasses! And they ensured everything ran smoothly, from the ceremony, to the aperitivo and then the dinner. Not only that, the music was simply breath taking - every song choice we loved. It was lively, but classy and still allowed guests to talk while enjoying it. The setting - sipping our wine in the Sicilian sunset with their fantastic music… it’s something we’ll never forget. Each musician was a master of their craft and we genuinely feel honoured to have had them. I feel like we have made a friend for life and we extend the invitation to visit us in Liverpool, if they ever fancied it! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, we genuinely are on a high from the day."

During my long career, I met special people and I built solid relationships with them, but I rarely encountered a couple so classy, enchanting and friendly. Lydia and Michael will remain in my heart forever ♥️

"Couldn't have asked for a better wedding band. Free Rads brass band played an amazing set that got everyone dancing from the second they started. I've never seen a response like that from any wedding crowd. Excellent musicians and great variety of tunes that kept things interesting. Booking them was really easy and communication was great throughout. Everyone was on time and ready to play. Definitely recommend if you want a super funky wedding dance party! "

"The Free Radicals Brass Band were amazing! They were super easy to work with, and they really brought the energy to the wedding reception. They had a great presence, tons of fun, and of course amazing music. I saw relatives dance that I didn't know were even capable of it! Everyone who was at the wedding had a great time and really enjoyed the music. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. "

"Nice guys and great musicians. We wanted a 100% Italian style reception and so it was, they sang Italian songs that we all sang together. They had a station near us and every now and then they played, singing and walking between the tables with the guests. Very very funny and characteristic. We still sing Volare and O Sole mio thinking about that magical evening. Thanks so much guys!"

"What an incredible mariachi group! My guests were blown away by their performance and how great they were! They played during my church ceremony as well as cocktail hour which brought such an incredible atmosphere to our event! I loved being able to integrate my culture so far away from home and having Mariachi La Bamba do so in such a classy manner! They were extremely professional and talented. I walked down the aisle to “Diseñame” played by them and it was the most magical and memorable moment of my wedding. A true dream come true, 100000% recommend!"
