Álvar was very flexible with choosing the volin pieces to play, he was also very creative with figuring out what pieces would work for different parts of the wedding. "Kars and his band were the perfect backdrop to a very successful evening. The band arrived right on time. The setup was flawless. Wonderful easy-listening jazz followed by a sultry Bossa Nova evening. The quality was excellent and everything was very stylish. Highly recommended."

"We hired Luis for a private party at Quinta do Lago and we loved him. A great singer with a vast repertoire that pleases everyone at the party. We ask him to play a few songs that we love and he played them all perfectly. We will definitely book him again."

"We love giving parties and also being guests and this band was the very best we ever experienced - they were fantastic! There were mainly two generations present around 40ish and over 70 and ALL our guests danced all evening, even an 89 year old! The atmosphere was indescribable and even the bar staff were dancing behind the bar. We left it up to the band to choose which songs, just gave them a few of our favourites from their list and that worked so well - as they clearly could read their audience. And to start with the saxophone player coming in on a solo was just brill."
