"Alexandre was incredibly helpful and professional in helping me set up a gig in Paris. I had asked him to find me a venue, which turned out to be perfect, and after only one rehearsal he accompanied me beautifully as I sang 12 songs by Jacques Brel. It was a very successful gig, all of which was down to his enthusiasm to make the evening everything I had hoped it would be.."

"The Kensie Jazz and Dance Band does it all and is incredibly talented. We were so impressed and will hire them again without question. They were easy to work with, friendly and they do a wide range of music. Everyone there was raving about how good the band was. Julie's voice is gorgeous and the music was amazing. Highly recommend!!!"

First, we cannot thank YOU and your band enough for being so lovely to work with and for bringing our wedding day music vision perfectly to life. We knew you would be wonderful, but we were completely blown away. We really cannot thank you enough, and are just so happy with everything. It was the most magical day for us and the guests (everybody is still raving about the band), and you were a huge contribution to that. My dad would have loved to play with you! The one thing Frank and I were regretting from wedding day was not having more time to enjoy the band during the cocktail reception, so we nearly cried a bit seeing your email and the video. "Performing at our private event was such a wonderful experience. From our first messages to the last song of the evening, he was professional, kind, and easy to work with. His piano playing was elegant, expressive, and created exactly the mood we were hoping for. "This is to certify that the Marlene Johnson Duo was performing at the Starboard in the Taj Mahal hotel, Mumbai for a period of three months. During their tenure here we found the band to be of exceptional quality and class. Not only did they entertain the guests but they have also contributed a lot to the overall business and the impression of the place. They were the most aptly suited band that I worked with yet at the bar Their music, entertaining skill and ability to sing in a varied number of languages was a quality that will never be forgotten. "Better than our idols You only turn 65 once, so that called for a party with 65 guests, excellent catering, and live jazz music with a singer (Willem). Our preference was for the crooner style of Michael Bublé and Dennis van Aartsen, but this band was even better than our idols and exceeded our expectations: wonderful music, super professional, with friendly band members. It turned into a fantastic party with compliments about the music from all guests, young and old. We look back on it with great pleasure! "
