Review Centre: Guitarists

"We had searched for a guitarist to play our wedding, but as we wanted one to get the party started between the day and evening do, we struggled to find one, with most having a more downbeat take on songs. But then we found Matt and as we looked through his links on YouTube etc., his repertoire and his style, it became clear he was the guitarist for us. We reached out to Matt to talk about what we wanted from him for our day and he was very open and collaborative to our suggestions and upfront on what he provided, for how long and for how much and what he needed from us, making the whole booking process very easy. We also enquired about him learning some additional songs that were favourites of our friends and family, which he gladly obliged. On the day he arrived and got set up promptly, smartly dressed and was amazing, with our guests commenting that he was great. We would wholeheartedly recommend Matt for anyone, he is an amazing wedding guitarist!"

"Ben was great, punctual, polite and self sufficient. Adapted to last minute venue changes due to adverse weather conditions, he took it all in his stride and coped with the quirkinesses of the event brilliantly. Great voice, great musician, great price!!!"

"Came to the bar accidently willing to watch a football game. Totally surprised by the musician with the welcoming music and the nice repertoire. Finally, we totally forgot the game due to musician's performance and the smooth atmosphere created! Definitely recommended 👌 "

"We had the pleasure of using Roger for my son's wedding. Roger met with the bride and groom pre wedding to discuss what music they wanted. Not only did he help them choose songs that meant a lot to them he even learnt new songs that were personal to them. He really made the wedding personal and it was so special to have him play the bride down the aisle. I really recommend him if you're looking for a special event as he knows how to make magical music to suit each individual."

"Whether he’s playing one of his 6-string or 12-string guitars while he’s singing, Greg Woodruff grooves covers in addition to original songs and often with a timed kick or head twist that has become his signature as he makes eye contact with his fans. He has presence. As a young artist, he’s also getting into adding historical context to his play list choices and that also engages his audiences. He’s been taking small local venues and making them his own but watch out as he’s starting to team up with other musicians, which creates a richer sound experience: He’s going places and smiling all the way! "
