"The Cheers played at our wedding in August this year and were absolutely phenomenal from the first set to the last. They were new to the venue but you wouldn't have known. Fuss free, fantastic attitude and with the perfect amount of stage presence for a wedding. Furthermore, Ben, the band manager, was easy to contact, always engaging and friendly, and on-hand for anything we needed. I can't recommend these guys enough. Book them and you won't regret it!"

"Through all of our wedding planning, and postponements, and re-planning, Caroline has been absolutely wonderful! She showed me patience when I couldn’t make my mind up about song choices, or asked the same question a number of times! She offered advice and support, and above all, played beautifully for guests before our wedding ceremony, and afterwards during our wedding reception. She also came to the rescue and played our wedding ceremony music on the in-house music system when no one was available to do this – I couldn’t recommend her enough! It was everything and more ♥. "During our performances on board the Caledonian Sky in Syros on May 20 and May 27, 2025, we received truly heartwarming feedback from both the guests and the ship’s personnel. The crew told us that our show was “elegant, soulful, and engaging from beginning to end.” They praised the warm Mediterranean atmosphere we created and highlighted how our mix of Greek, Turkish, Sephardic, and cinematic music was unique yet accessible — a perfect match for their international audience. They also mentioned how much they appreciated Eftyhia’s role as a native English speaker, noting that her introductions and communication with the guests made a real difference in creating connection and comfort throughout the evening. From the staff side, both Nicola and Craig, along with other crew members, personally expressed how impressed they were with our professionalism, flexibility, and musical quality. They made us feel genuinely welcome and valued, and even said they would be happy to host us again in the future. "Sameeha is an amazingly talented singer. I have had the opportunity to listen to her singing at an event that happened in Milton Keynes 2025. She has such a unique warm tone and she was able to express the emotions of the song very clearly to the audience. I was captivated by her voice and so did the rest of the audience. "Johnny Miner was an exceptional choice for my father’s funeral. From the very beginning, coordinating with him was easy and reassuring. He offered insightful advice and thoughtful guidance that clearly came from many years of experience, which was invaluable during such a difficult time. He also provided a wonderful selection of songs to choose from, helping us select music that felt personal and meaningful for the service. His talent on the bagpipes is truly remarkable. The music he played was powerful, moving, and deeply meaningful, creating a moment that honored my father beautifully and left a lasting impression on everyone present. Beyond his musical skill, Johnny carried himself with great dignity and professionalism, which added to the solemnity and respect of the service. "Jonny was amazing to work with. We contacted him when my mother was close to passing to see about availability. He was very flexible and was able to play at her graveside service with very short notice. He arrived early to play as people arrived and throughout the service. It was very special and made the cold snow day feel more peaceful. Highly recommend him for any event."

"Oh my goodness if I could give The Cheers 1000/10 I so would! We hired them to play an acoustic set during our welcome drinks at our wedding and the live party sets for the evening bash and they were absolutely fabulous. We were literally blown away and they were everything we hoped for and exceeded our expectations. The acoustic set was perfect jazzy modern soulful and really a wonderful backdrop to canapés and fizz. Everyone loved it and I would really recommend opting for this. It sets the day off to such a lovely start. I liased with Ben before hand and he also put together a wonderful dinner playlist. And then the party really started! The bands vocals are amazing and they really get the crowd going! So much so we actually BROKE the dance floor at the venue! Song after song after song was a belter. They were just amazing! They also managed the play list of music between sets and it was perfect. Everyone young and old was up on the dance floor. We have had so many comments about how fantastic the band were. Also I found Ben and the band so professional personable and delightful to have around on the day. Really genuine passionate people. I want to do it all again! Booking The Cheers was one of the best decisions we made and they absolutely nailed the music! Thanks so much guys! (10 / 10)"
