"Kenny Kirby [2021] - Playin' The Cracks (Selected Tracks) [Philly Fillet Records] I came across this artist via DJ Melismo's (aka Mats Olofsson) latest podcast in which he played "Someday We'll All Be Free" (and what a version!), so decided to check out the rest of the album Kenny Kirby's name may not be well known but he has been performing for over forty years with top acts such as Van Morrison, Charlie Grace, Sly & The Family Stone, Delfonics, Three Degrees, Major Harris, Billy Paul, Intruders, Blue Notes, Soul Survivors and was conductor for The Tymes. He is a piano player from Birmingham, AL, and released, what looks like, his debut album "Playin' The Cracks" in April. It is mainly covers, smooth jazz, some instrumentals and some quite MOR tunes, but three tracks did get my attention. I'm fairly sure it's not Kenny singing as some of the vocals are female. No one else is credited on the album, so I'm guessing they are unnamed guest vocalists on the vocal tracks. The three tracks are a cover of Donny Hathaway's "Someday We'll All Be Free", "Some Things Never Change" and "Ultimate Lover" a song written by Linda Creed and Dennis Matkosky."

"The guys are professionals in their field and very pleasant people! They played at my wedding in the summer of 2021 and we didn't regret for a second that we invited them to enhance the wedding program. They escorted the bride before the ceremony and also entertained our guests during the cocktail party before we entered the venue. I highly recommend them because they love what they do and will definitely add a special touch to the couples night!"

"We booked Lorenzo for our wedding in Italy last summer, and we were so lucky to meet him. We worked closely to customize the soundtrack for our special day, from ceremony, aperitif, first dance, every moment was great. From start to finish it was a pleasure! "We highly recommend Stephan Kane, he was awesome! At our request, he played Spanish/classical guitar prior to the ceremony, our songs of choice for the processional and recessional, and cocktail hour. We were so grateful when Stephan offered to learn our song of choice for the processional. Stephan was lovely to deal with. On the day of the wedding he was very professional but friendly when someone wanted to have a chat. He was responsive to our emails and when we asked for help with the selection, order and style of the songs for the processional and recessional he was very informative. Stephan is a phenomenal guitarist and our guests commented on how talented he is. We are so pleased with his service, attire, demeanour and professionalism. We would hire Stephan again in a heart beat!"

" Amazing performance "I can''t say enough great things about working with Dave. We hired him to be the musical entertainment for a party and we are so glad we did. For starters, he is an absolutely brilliant musician, and my guests were so complimentary of his performance. "Jan was absolutely amazing at our wedding. The communication and professionalism beforehand was fantastic. He even let me pick all our favourite songs for the set lists and gave me advice on which would work best for the 2 sets he did for us and everyone absolutely loved it! All or guests commented how amazing the sax was and we couldn't have been happier with his performance. He also took a special request which he learned for us for our big day! Would 100% recommend him. Lovely guy!"

"The highlight of the night is the musical score which has been devised by cast member Richard Hughes. He provides accompaniment using a variety of instruments including an accordion, tuba and even two pairs of scissors.
