Review Centre: Mobile DJs

"We hired Joe for our wedding and he was fantastic from start to finish. We booked our wedding from abroad without meeting Joe before hand. But right from the initial conversations we could not have been more impressed. He visited the venue for a tour to check it all out before we even paid our deposit to check where different equipment was needed. He asked for lots of information up front such as music for while guests arrive, walking down the isle, during dinner and for the party etc. We sent him Spotify playlists with our choices and he absolutely honoured our choices. As my wife is Mexican, we requested some Latin music which I thought may not be typical in Italy but Joe mixed it in fantastically. Our ceremony was a little way from the dance floor where his equipment was but he had everything controlled during the ceremony with an iPad which we were really impressed with. And he made sure he coordinated the music exactly to what was going on during the ceremony. My wife felt reassured that she could control her entrance exactly as he was there with the iPad ready to play the entrance music when she was ready. The sound quality and over all professionalism was 10/10! The dance floor was busy from start to end. Could not recommend Joe any more strongly to anyone else!"

"We hired Wayne for a staff event we had at Auckland Zoo. The night went extremely well, and the dancefloor was pumping. One of the zookeepers even offered Wayne a private tour of the zoo before the event started, and bet Wayne $500 that he wouldn't be able to go from one side of the crocodile enclosure to the other - When Wayne asked him to lead the way, the zookeeper was stunned - he didn't think Wayne would do it. Needless to say, the zookeeper backed down when he realised Wayne was serious! A DJ that is prepared to do anything is ok by us... That man is beyond amazing A top notch DJ in every way!"

"Cannot say enough good things! I cannot say enough about how wonderful Matt is. He went above and beyond to connect with my son and make him feel comfortable interacting with him. We went to the grocery store later that day and he was telling everyone he ate cake with Michael Jackson for his birthday. Is he an amazing impersonator, yes Does he have the moves and the costumes, definitely Is he professional and flexible, for sure The best though is that he is an amazing human being doing this to bring more love and positive energy into the world and I cannot be more grateful for the memories he gave our family. "

"I am part of a non profit Helpful Hands and found Khalil to the perfect fit for what we needed to keep people on the dance floor! We have an annual gala for 200 - not only was the dance music spot on It also stayed full with people having a great time. Khalil also played the sax during the cocktail hour and added such special touch to our event! We will definitely use Khalil again!"

"DJ Dishant was professional and friendly. He took into account the age of the guests, to tailor the music accordingly. He also asked for a sample of the music we liked to get a better idea. The floor was packed most of the time. The setup looked amazing and the lighting etc was great. I’d recommend him without hesitation."

"We attended a wedding tonight and had an absolute blast at the reception thanks to Branden! He got out on the dance floor and taught some line dances. His mixes were great! Branden also did a great job of reading the room and mixing older and newer music to get everyone on the dance floor."

"I cannot recommend DJ Alex Sax enough. From our first call two months before my 50th birthday party, he was thoughtful, professional, and genuinely invested in understanding my vision and the vibe I wanted for each part of the evening. Our planning conversations were easy and collaborative, and he asked great questions I hadn’t thought of that ended up making a big difference. Communicating my vision felt effortless. I shared a playlist to give him a sense of my taste, and he executed it with precision while also reading the room and adapting in real time. From the moment guests arrived, the energy was elevated. The music set the tone perfectly and kept building throughout the night in a way that felt natural and fun. What stood out most was how well he read the crowd. I had guests ranging in age from 12 to 88, and every single person had a blast. People were dancing, smiling, and engaged the entire evening. One of my favorite moments was his idea to play saxophone during “Happy Birthday,” and helping me pick the perfect song to follow it. That moment landed perfectly and became a highlight of the night. DJ Alex Sax didn’t just provide music, he helped create the entire atmosphere of the event. I would absolutely recommend him without hesitation."
