"We just wanted to thank you so much for playing at our wedding recently. As my family are Scottish a piper was always something I wanted and when we came across your site my dad thought you were brilliant. Having then lost my dad only very recently having you there was all the more poignant. The moment I heard you play when I was in the bridal suite brought me to tears. It was so very special. You are a complete professional and communication was fabulous from start to finish. Having you pipe us into the wedding breakfast and presenting you with the traditional quaich made our wedding so much more special. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to others. "Following our wedding on Monday we just wanted to say a massive Thankyou to Robin. He surpassed our expectations by a mile. He was there as we arrived at the reception and kept our guests entertained and in good spirits until well after our wedding breakfast. Everyone loved him and the atmosphere his created with his upbeat songs and great voice. He was professional and knew how to choose songs appropriate for each moment. My guest were up on their feet from the very start and I have heard nothing but fantastic feedback from them all. I would highly recommend robin and if we lived here in Cornwall I would want him at every function! Thanks for making our day so special x"

"Thank you once again for making my father’s birthday party such a great success. Having the party on a boat made for slightly more difficult logistics but your professional yet flexible and enthusiastic approach to the situation really helped. On arrival you quickly tuned into the nature and tone of the event and your personality and sense of fun charmed everyone. You play the accordion wonderfully and is the perfect accompaniment to your beautiful voice transporting us all to a timeless Left Bank cafe in Paris. As you know, my father was enchanted by you. He said that you were the absolute highlight of the party. And that’s the first time I can remember dancing with my mum! "

"I hired Matthew for my 50th birthday party and am so pleased that I did - he was exactly what I was looking for! I selected him on the basis of the quality that I saw on the website, and felt that he was even better in person. Being somewhat fussy, I was apprehensive about finding someone who could meet my needs, but Matthew suggested that we had a meeting before my event and we chatted through my ideas and preferences - as well as the things that I did not want! I came away feeling that he understood me and that we had connected, which was incredibly reassuring, and I was not let down on the night. Matthew is an incredibly talented singer and guitarist - recreating songs in a way that not only reflects the original, but often putting his own twist onto them in a way that keeps them fresh and interesting. His use of the loop pedal was particularly impressive! It was of note that so many of my guests commented on how good he was - they had a great time and really got into the swing of things as he gradually turned up the tempo and got everyone dancing. In doing so, he took requests, interacted with the crowd, showed a good sense of humour and came across as a fun, friendly and approachable guy. He played a wide range of songs, all of which reflected our discussion beforehand, with a great balance between those you might expect at a party and some 'surprises' that may be less common but worked equally well - if not better! I would definitely hire Matthew again, and would recommend him to pretty much anyone: he has a list of nearly 500 songs to choose from, and has a strict policy of not having a 'usual' setlist - instead preferring to engage in a discussion of what you'd like, so would be able to cater for all tastes - even mine! Thanks so much Matthew - you turned a great night into an incredible night!"

"As a piano student, I introduced Sonia to a couple of friends to play the organ during their wedding. She was on time, well trained and she performed passionately with a singer. The bride and the groom were satisfied with the musical performance. I also attended other events in which Sonia performed both classical and jazz music alone/in couple and with singers and I think the result is guaranteed by her great skills, professionalism and passion for music. "

"Stephan brought an incredible atmosphere to our event. Along with a violinist, their sound was gorgeous and filled the room. They performed a great set of contemporary songs through cocktails – and even learned a requested piece for our ceremony. Absolutely beautiful. Professional, easy to work with – would certainly look to hire Stephan again!"

"Igor was our saxophonist for my wife and my wedding service. He arrived on time (a little early) to set up. The music list he provided was extensive and included all of the hit songs we were hoping for. He set himself up quickly and was very polite and easy to work with. His musical talents were phenomenal. He had my mother-in-law in tears when he played a few of her favourite songs ("fly me to the moon" in particular). He played "1000 years" as the entry song for my partner and helped set the mood for what was a beautiful service. Our experience with Igor was extremely positive and both myself and my wife highly recommend that anyone who wants a live performer for a special occasion consider throwing in a little saxophone provided by Igor, you're likely to fall in love with it!"

"I needed to surprise the president of our company for his birthday — and I realized at 11:30 p.m. the night before that I hadn’t planned anything. Our VP wanted us to do something totally crazy and unexpected, especially since our president hates birthdays. Thank God for ChatGPT, which gave me the idea to hire a bagpipe player to play “Happy Birthday” — and that’s how I found Johnny. I messaged him through the website, and he responded within 30 minutes. He said he could do it, and honestly, he was amazing to work with from start to finish. He was flexible with timing (even when I had to change things), super professional, and made the whole experience fun and stress-free. For someone to come through last minute like that and absolutely deliver? Incredible. Our president loved it, and it made his day. Highly recommend Johnny — you truly can’t go wrong."
