"My husband & I recently married in Rome …. We had the most beautiful ceremony in the Campidoglio & then on to an amazing wedding reception in the Kolbe Hotel !!!! But what made our reception was the music !!! The atmosphere these guys created was outstanding … they played straight from their hearts & our family & friends adored them as we did !!! They gave us refined with fun , laughter & love …. take a bow guys , you made our wedding sparkle !!!! We never wanted them to stop playing !!! "My 80th BD celebration was held on May 24th. It is May 28th and I am still getting KUDOS from my guest about Nadine and her Soul of New York Band. Nadine was professional and always had a smile in her voice from inception. I had spoken with two other bands and was very impressed of Nadine's understanding of what type of music I wanted for my event. I am still getting comments from my guest asking "where did you find your band?", "the singers were excellent", "best BD party ever" and of course I felt very proud my choice was Nadine and her Soul of New York Band. Thank you Nadine, for showing up and showing out, as the saying goes...many blessings!!!!!!"

"Ant was recommended to us by a friend to play at our wedding and he was brilliant! He played instrumental covers as our guests arrived at the church, the bride was nearly half an hour late but Ant was more than happy to carry on playing and created a lovely atmosphere in the church which everyone really enjoyed. We asked Ant if he would be able to play and sing our favourite song whilst we signed the register in the church. He learned this specially and it was perfect, and one of the many highlights of our day. Ant also performed some covers as our guests arrived at the reception and everyone loved the live music. Ant was professional, passionate, very friendly and it was a pleasure to have him perform on our special day. We couldn’t recommend Ant enough. Thank you so much. "

"Amazing Entertainment As an event director at a venue I work with many different music vendors, and I have to say that OPOV Band was one of the most entertaining groups I have seen! The way that they interact with the crowd to keep everyone on the dance floor was super fun to watch! Working with Nina to coordinate all of the logistics for this wedding day was a breeze. Very professional, kind, and a joy to work with! "

"I wanted a swing/jazz band for my wedding, and oh boy, did they deliver! They were swinging, and lively; their repertoire was quite expansive. They reached out to ask if I had any specific songs and then added additional pieces that suited the style I wanted. We contracted them for both the ceremony and the reception, we had a 3 piece band for the ceremony (piano, bass, and sax) They showed up early and set up with no extra help needed, played some gentle jazz music until the ceremony began, and even added in a drummer for no extra charge. I flip-flopped on the song I wanted to walk down the aisle to until almost the very last moment, and they were incredibly understanding and flexible. For the ceremony, we requested a 7 piece band so it could be boisterous and fun. There was almost no time that the dance floor was empty from the moment they began playing, even though the music they played was a sort of old-school jazz that few people know how to properly dance to. They played so well and brought such an element of joy and fun, that all our guests felt comfortable enough to dance all night. We learned how to swing dance for our first dance (Louis Armstrong, 'Bout Time), and the band played it to perfection (even if we didn't dance it perfectly LOL). This moment is one I will treasure forever, it was exactly as I had wanted it to be. For the rest of the night, they played off a setlist of a few songs I gave them and filled in the rest with their own recommendations. The singer has the most beautiful voice, all the band members play perfectly, I felt like I was in a 1920s jazz bar which was exactly what I had wanted. We had guests approach us all throughout the night, and even now to ask who the band was and to congratulate us on such a fun event. If you want a band that can swing, rock, and any other musical verb you like, this is the band you want. They were so communicative, helpful, and perfectly able to understand my vision. To the Orignal Moonlighters: thank you for making my wedding as special as it was."

"We were absolutely thrilled to have this band play at our wedding reception! We requested reggae love songs because my partner and I both love old school reggae and their reggae rhythms were infectious, everyone was up dancing from the very first song, young and old. They played such a perfect mix of classic and well-loved tunes also. They sounded amazing, and were so professional and friendly throughout .They really made our day feel so special and joyful, we can’t recommend them enough! Thank you for giving us such wonderful memories."

"We hired The Cheers for our own wedding this year and they were absolutely wonderful! So easy to deal with and on the night the music was brilliant, everyone was dancing from our 5 year old daughter through to the 'oldies'!!!! It was a great atmosphere, so much fun and really made our wedding day. The whole band were simply lovely - friendly and smiley and really accommodating to all our music requests. Highly recommend."

Please also extend our thanks to the rest of the band for their fantastic performance on the night. Everybody commented on how good they were and should the occasion arise we would have no hesitation asking The Cheers to perform at a future event that we host. I only hope that they enjoyed performing at what was a memorable night for ourselves."

"The perfect party/wedding band. OPOV is the greatest party/wedding band in America! If they are available for your event, book them and you and your guests will have the night of their lives. The one thing my future son-in-law asked for during the entire wedding weekend was for OPOV to play at the reception. Damn, he was so right. The energy, musicianship, song selection, and wow, those singers captured the crowd and had everyone (even this old man) dancing the entire night. And the band members are each all so professional and nice to be with and talk to that you’ll want to invite them over for Sunday dinner. Just the best!"
