"Our experience was amazing. The guys turned up on time, set up quickly, we're great to chat with, and their musicianship was wonderful. Everyone commented on how good the music was - and there was only 2 of them! Really impressed, wouldn't hesiatate to recommened them to anyone else. Thanks so much for making our evening so memorable!"

"On Sunday 24th February the ‘David Hitchen Sextet’ sounded like a band that had played together for years. The superbly presented performance had everything…a well planned repertoire, cleverly arranged charts and playing of the highest level. The fact that the six musicians met to perform together for the very first time only two hours before the gig, was quite beyond belief and had David not mentioned it during his announcements no-one would have known. "Thank you so much for setting the mood so perfectly for our wedding day and the reception after the ceremony. It was everything we hoped for. The band started playing just as we left the altar and it immediatly set the mood to a fun and relaxed but super classy afternoon. The guys followed us discretely and got people (including us) dancing during reception, so even before the offical dancing started :). They read the crowd so well and were the perfect choice for our garden wedding! You were so kind and super professional at all times and we could not have asked for more. We would definetly have you again! Thank you for being part of our special day!"

"These guys were great, they made the evening so much fun. They were accommodating and even moved and changed to acoustic after our venue got a bit hot and our guests moved to a cooler part of the venue."

"Beans and Biscuits have played at Baldock folk club 3 times in the past and they always put on a great fun night ,With some great toe tapping tunes and some fabulous fiddle playing .Their repertoire covers Country, Honkytonk, and Americana and we look forward to having them back in 2023"
