"Shout out to Jason for making my hubby's 60th birthday celebrations so much more enjoyable. Any song requests we had Jason was happy to make our choice of music happen. We added karaoke and Jason was more than happy to share the stage and mic. Jason was on time and had a great set-up, lights, posters and his guitar, sang and got the guests singing. Thank you Jason. "The Distance played at our companies 10th anniversary event. We absolutely loved them and have had comments from both staff and clients since the event. They really made our night unique. They were professional, kept in contact (we even booked them at really short notice and they were so SO helpful!), and honestly just made the night special. Fantastic at their craft, the loveliest and most down to earth people, worked around speeches etc. Highly recommend! Thanks Soph and Mat! "

"We stopped by El Sarape while a friend was visiting from out of town, and Dr. Saxy’s live music ended up being one of the highlights of the weekend. His saxophone performance brought a warm, welcoming energy to the space and made the whole experience feel more memorable. My friend was genuinely impressed and kept commenting on how much he enjoyed the music. Beyond being a skilled saxophonist, Dr. Saxy is also a talented composer. He shared with us some pieces of music that he has been writing! It’s clear he puts real passion into his craft, and it shows. Thanks for a great night!"

"Ruby sang at our anniversary party in 2016, and she made it an absolutely unforgettable evening. She has a fantastic song list ready, and she is happy to learn new songs for you, - even if I must say that her repertoire matches my own favourite songs, so I would be hard pushed to find any additional to request. Ruby covers all sorts of swing and Jazz from the Andrew Sisters to Amy Winehouse, dance music from cha cha cha to rock ‘n roll plus also Beatles and Bowie and other styles of music. All delivered with Ruby's own touch. Some of them much better than the originals. On top of it all, she made me aware of another brilliant singer, the Dutch Caro Emerald, as Ruby sings a couple of Caro’s songs. To have Ruby singing was, to quote a Caro Emerald song: “I have never dreamed, dreamed a night like this” I would definitely recommend Ruby for any party, birthday, wedding, anniversary or the like."

"From start to finish Thomas kept in contact with us. Thomas arrived well before time to set up and the staff and residents all enjoyed his performance with a few getting up to have a little dance. Thomas was also requested to visit some of the residents who are unable to leave their rooms to play a little tune for them. All in all Thomas delivered his performance beautifully which was enjoyed by all, he played all the greatest tunes which brought back many memories. Thank you Thomas for making the evening a special one and one to remember."

"We were so happy with our choice of music for our wedding. They were in contact beforehand and we agreed our first dance and extra playing time. They arrived early to set up which made us feel very comfortable when the day was so busy. We would highly recommend them. Many of our guests commented and loved the music. "
