"Review received on 4/25/2018 Family Friendly Entertainer! Our event was a family focused event in the park hosted by a Cub Scout Pack. It had vendors & food trucks with a lot of life sized free games. Mario Manzini was our primary entertainment with 2- 1 hour shows of magic & escape. Victoria offered up her talents on an electric fiddle as an opening act for Mario and it ran together very well. Mario & Victoria did a wonderful job of entertaining. The children loved the mystery of the escapes and the chief of police challenged him in a handcuff escape. The crowd was fully involved in the event. " Review received on 3/14/2024 Mario Manzini's "Tribute to Houdini" show is a must see. Mario is challenged by local police to escape their handcuffs and does so in record time while secured in a cloth sack. His comedy magic show is great and uses members from the audience as volunteers/committee members to assure the rest of the audience that everything is on the up and up. Mario even levitates an audience participant while surrounded. The escape show is terrific. Mario liberates himself from a plethora of bonds including, but not limited to; 100 feet of rope, a leather straight jacket, multiple handcuffs and leg irons, and a large Milk Can filled with water (as Houdini himself used). I have been a professional magical entertainer for 25 years and can tell you that Mario Manzini's 30+ years as an escapist and magician have made him one of most talented in this field. When the opportunity arrives and Mr. Manzini is playing anywhere near your location purchase tickets at once. You will enjoy every minute of the show." "Poptop Jade was absolutely brilliant for our 800+ Girlguiding event. The communication was quick and succinct from start to finish, a real plus for me because I was needing to book at last minute. She arrived in good time and was great with the children - exactly what we needed. Jade was also able to wear a costume that best went with the theme of our event. We will absolutely use again. "Hi Jade, We just wanted to say a massive thank you for your amazing performance at our Summer Fair on Saturday, 6th July.The weather wasn't kind and we did wonder if you would still be able to perform inside. In fact, you were better than ever. The stilt walking was incredible and you captivated and fascinated the visitors with your amazing skills. "We have a company Christmas party every year. In the past we have a local magician that we would hire each year and he was lots of fun and folks liked him. We wanted something a little different this year and my husband somehow found MerMan. He explained what he would do for us and the cost. Being in business for year I know you get what you pay for. I was skeptical at first because it was quite a bit more than we had paid in the past. My husband said" we have a had a good year and I really liked talking with this guy lets give it a try" I reluctantly agreed. WOW, JUST WOW! even my negative nellies commented on how much fun they had. That is no easy feat with that bunch. Kudos, MerMan Job Well Done!"
