Despite it being a small, intimate ceremony, Scarlett helped make it extremely special - her musicianship was outstanding and it was the perfect fit for a Covid wedding! "Huffington post Review by Randy Radic From the Land Down Under, where “women glow and men thunder,” comes Ivan Beecroft, who has a new single out, called “Believe.” It’s the first release from his forthcoming album. “Believe” is a song about the complexities of human relationships. Ivan’s music and lyrics are inspired by his time as a steelworker, a vocation that opened his eyes and his conscience to what was going on around him. Turning to music was his way of coping with the inequities of life. Stylistically, Ivan writes and sings retro rock from the 1990s, with heavy influences from grunge pop music. And if you listen closely to “Believe,” you can hear just a hint of Pearl Jam in the tune. The way Ivan phrases smacks of Eddie Vedder, as does the melody. Still, the resemblances are nuanced and not overt or obvious. That being said, the song also reminds, because of the piano, of Billy Joel. It should be noted that Ivan plays all the instruments on the song: drums, bass, guitars, piano and the synth. In addition, he produced, mixed and mastered the song. In other words, Ivan is multi-talented and definitely has an ear for what works and what doesn’t. “Believe” begins with a snappy drum beat, then the piano jumps in and the melody is set. The melody is strong and rides on the wave provided by the piano; the drums carry the beat well, emphasizing the snare which pops with gusto. "

"Highlight of our Event Coal #9 was the highlight of our backyard party. From the initial booking onward working with the band was effortless. Communication was excellent throughout. The band had to adjust their setup for our backyard but adjusted on the fly and without any loss in performance or complaint. Our guests raved at the quality of their performance. Band members were friendly and warm and their presence added to the evenings ambiance. We are so thankful that we go Coal #9 to perform at our event and highly recommend you consider them for your event. " Keith was our piper at our wedding at the end of April. What an absolute legend. The day was excellent and Keith played brilliantly. Such a nice guy too, chatting beforehand to keep me calm, interacting with guests, always game for a photo. The day would definitely not have been as special had Keith not been there, I'll definitely be recommending and booking Keith again in the future.
