"Maria — 18 May 2025 wedding in Val d'Orcia, Siena, Italy "She played at our Italian church wedding and aperitif and we can’t speak highly enough of her. She was lovely to work with, professional and even learned a song for our ceremony. She has a varied set list of songs - many of which are our favourites back home in the UK. She was very kind, gracious and we will always remember the beautiful music she played at our wedding. If you are thinking of having her play on your special day, or other event, you won’t regret it - she’s a real talent!"

"Incredible performance! The variety of music was perfect for our wedding and kept the dance floor packed. Manu is exceptionally talented. He played during our cocktail hour and then teamed up with the DJ later. Everyone had a blast!"

"Roger arrived promptly and was very professional. It didn't take him long to set up at all. He played very well and it was perfect for what we required. He played a mixture of genres, something to suit everyone. I would recommend Roger and definitely book him again in the future :) "

"DJ Sparx is a great contribution to anybody's wedding!! An amazing, polite and talented DJ, who had our dance floor brimming with great tracks and tunes all night! We highly recommend this fine young lady to any event, and would be happy to use her again. Very prompt, and quick setting up, and played requested music. Very many thanks for your help, you helped make our wedding evening with our guests very special!!"

"The Sydney Jazz Collective was completely outstanding. Great liaison prior to our event and everything went smoothly on the night. Seamless setup, great variety of music and the band helped with the backing of a special number sung by the guest of honour on the night. Great musicians and great music of the highest calibre. "I can’t say enough good things about Groove Gang Avenue. It’s always challenging to hire a band or any other service from another country. Giuseppe did everything possible to make the process stress free. He was quick to respond, eager to accommodate all of our requests, and even suggested a video chat on WhatsApp a few months before the wedding to make sure we all knew what to expect. On the day of the wedding, the band drove from Rome to a small town outside Sorrento just for our wedding. After a quick consultation on where we wanted them to set up, they got to it and we were able to get back to handling other details. When our guests began arriving and the band started playing, I knew instantly that we had made the right choice. Our group instantly loved the music, from their standard repertoire up to a few songs that they learned just for us. The sound was balanced and full. I was also very glad that we went with the 5-piece group, since the saxophone added so much to the mood! Then, a rain shower blew through. As soon as we made the decision to move inside, the band started grabbing equipment and within 20 minutes they had set up indoors and were back to keeping the party going. Several times throughout the night I had a guest come up to me, nod toward the band and say: “They’re REALLY good!” And they are. I couldn’t be more glad that we chose Groove Gang Avenue to play for our wedding, and that they were willing to travel so far to make the party happen as wonderfully as it did! "Ruby sang yesterday at my nans 90th Birthday party. What can I say. Absolutely amazing I would highly recommend her. Her voice is beautiful and she sang all my nans favourites as requested. Such a lovely friendly lady who made the party a huge success. "
