Based in Dublin, Leinster, Ireland (123 miles from Londonderry) 5th April 2026 Katie - 21st birthday Photo of Tom B Sax - Man With The Red Suit Tom B Sax - Man With The Red Suit "Tom played at our wedding drinks reception and saxed us into our top table and he was nothing short of amazing! He was a real hit with all our guests who all commented on how incredible he was and how he created such a good upbeat vibe for our entire day! He’s such a lovely person and he was amazing to deal with from start to finish and we could not recommend him anymore if we tried! Thank you so much for everything!" Based in Glasgow, Scotland (134 miles from Londonderry) Cheryl McHattie - Wedding reception Photo of Dave Murphy Dave Murphy "had a fad night Billy Joel songs where amazing then done sometimes when we touch and was brilliant. and version of grace was amazing if he was in dublin I go every weekend" Based in Cork, Munster, Ireland (219 miles from Londonderry) George cornally - hotel bar Photo of Dar.Ra Dar.Ra "Hype Magazine USA Cure For Jealousy A perfectly polished storyteller in the literal sense, Dar.Ra goes for this wild swing of ‘80s dance-rock infused with edge on the stomping sweetness of “Cure For Jealousy.” The track combines a range of periods and influences, ensuring the sound works seamlessly as a cohesive, concise whole. Volume is a given; he brings it, and it is a physical sound, like the way blood rushes through the ears with the first few traces of jealousy. Looking through his track record, he’s managed to touch upon every iteration of dance and rock within the last forty years, and has done it well. Outside of the music, he’s the author of two books, which also inform the character studies that he graces with his sound. It is catchy, addictive, and liberating stuff, the sort of thing that the music world needs now – something unique, experimental yet accessible, and overflowing with ideas. Sonically, Dar.Ra’s sound draws on the revivalist traditions of DFA Records, specifically on LCD Sound-System’s earnest pleas and search for meaning. Like James Murphy, Dar.Ra does have a love for the aesthetics of just a gigantic canvas, letting the whole arrangement feel enormous. On the classic side, the insistent bass has an ESG quality, with the groove absolutely dominating. It is easy to get intoxicated by the atmosphere, and the vocals further sell this idea of breaking free from this impairment. The tautness of the groove even delves into Parliament’s most unhinged experiments, as the track sparkles with endless creativity. For all these reference points, Dar.Ra continues his fine tradition of marching to the beat of a different drummer, going for this life-affirming, soulful stance. The stormy mix of keyboards and the tight rhythm section work their magic. Before his voice enters the equation, the mood is already set. When he takes center stage, the song transforms into an inner turmoil. He’s conflicted, and the verses cascade downwards reflecting exactly that. It stuns, and the track’s length makes the atmosphere almost psychedelic. Of course, this is what good dance music is meant to embody – endless expanses, endless possibilities. There is a reason so many dance-floors adhere to that sixto-seven-minute mark, even exceeding it when necessary. The band's interplay feels spirited, as if possessed, and this is what carries it all the way to the finale: a contemplative commotion. “Cure For Jealousy” shows that Dar.Ra is what music needs right now – a sound that draws and builds on the past while pointing a way forward, in a purely hedonistic, funk/dance/punk flavour." Based in Aberystwyth, Wales (222 miles from Londonderry) 20th April 2026 Hype Magazine USA - Kusha Deep Music UK Photo of Scarlett Strings - Violin + Singing Scarlett Strings - Violin + Singing "Scarlett was incredible! Everything about our experience was perfect from the communication to her performance. She learnt a new song for our aisle song and it was beautiful. All our guests loved the music during the ceremony and drinks reception. It was lovely to have a performance that was so elegant yet personal, I would recommend her to everyone." Based in Newcastle upon Tyne, England (226 miles from Londonderry) 26th February 2026 Katy V - Wedding Photo of Trumpet for events Trumpet for events "Many people came up to me after the service saying how genuinely touched they were by your performance. My Uncle and my Dad were sat behind me during the service and you literally reduced them both to tears. I have never seen either of them cry before. It was extremely moving, your performance was beautiful and perfect. Rob would have absolutley loved it. Thank you much for performing for us and for your professionalism and sympathy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to anyone" Based in Manchester, England (230 miles from Londonderry) 18th September 2026 Sarah - Funeral

The average price for accompanists on Gig Heaven is £250, with rates from £80 to £600+. Cost varies based on the musician's experience, the length of the session and the instrument involved. The accompanists for hire are skilled musicians who provide musical support for singers, instrumentalists, choirs or other performers. They typically play piano or keyboard, though some specialise in guitar or other instruments. Accompanists are commonly booked for weddings, recitals, auditions and religious services.

Common events for accompanists include wedding ceremonies, church services, vocal recitals, auditions, rehearsals and other events where a singer or performer needs live musical support. Some accompanists also provide solo background music for drinks receptions and dinners.

Most accompanists are experienced sight-readers and can learn or prepare specific pieces for an event. It is advisable to send any music or song requests in advance so the accompanist can prepare. Many are comfortable working with a wide range of musical styles.

Most accompanists who play portable instruments such as guitar will bring their own equipment. Keyboard players typically bring their own instrument, though some may prefer to use a piano if one is available at the venue.
