Maria Ploumi
"Maria Ploumi is an exceptional laouto player and singer, seamlessly blending traditional Greek music with contemporary influences. Her recent performance with Chrysoula K. & Púrpura was a masterclass in musicality and emotion. With her expressive laouto playing and warm vocals, Ploumi added depth and texture to a diverse repertoire spanning Greece, Argentina, Portugal, Armenia, and Italy.
The band’s unique instrumentation—kanun, flute, cello, and laouto—created a rich, immersive soundscape, with Ploumi’s precision and artistry standing out as a highlight. Her synergy with lead singer Chrysoula Kechagioglou and the rest of the ensemble was remarkable, delivering a performance that was both technically impressive and deeply moving.
Maria Ploumi’s ability to bridge musical traditions makes her a standout artist in today’s world music scene. Whether leading with her laouto or harmonizing in song, she brings an authenticity and passion that captivates audiences."
Birbillia
"During our performances on board the Caledonian Sky in Syros on May 20 and May 27, 2025, we received truly heartwarming feedback from both the guests and the ship’s personnel.
The crew told us that our show was “elegant, soulful, and engaging from beginning to end.” They praised the warm Mediterranean atmosphere we created and highlighted how our mix of Greek, Turkish, Sephardic, and cinematic music was unique yet accessible — a perfect match for their international audience.
They also mentioned how much they appreciated Eftyhia’s role as a native English speaker, noting that her introductions and communication with the guests made a real difference in creating connection and comfort throughout the evening.
From the staff side, both Nicola and Craig, along with other crew members, personally expressed how impressed they were with our professionalism, flexibility, and musical quality. They made us feel genuinely welcome and valued, and even said they would be happy to host us again in the future.
Our collaboration continues with great mutual respect and appreciation, and we look forward to more beautiful musical moments together."

Golden "Opa" Band
"There’s something beautifully unpolished about Golden OPA Band. Not messy—human. Their sound has this lived‑in warmth, like stories passed down over wine and late nights. You don’t just hear them; you feel the room shift around them."
Soul N Passion String Duo
"Soul N Passion played our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. Their music was beautiful and helped make the ceremony so memorable. They even learned a new song that we requested for our exit song and executed it perfectly! The music during cocktail hour was so popular among our guests, especially instrumental covers of popular pop songs! We would recommend Soul N Passion to anyone!"
