Many AV hire suppliers include a technician to deliver, set up, operate and collect the equipment. This is strongly recommended for larger events or complex setups. For the best experience, confirm whether a technician is included or available as an add-on.

Some venues limit rigging points, floor loading or where cabling can run, and a few require the supplier to work alongside their own in-house team. Historic and listed buildings are the most likely to have restrictions. Checking with the venue early lets the supplier plan a setup that will actually be allowed.
