Classic Rock Bands for Hire in Lyon

Hire Classic Rock Bands in Lyon, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France

Classic rock bands in Lyon, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France cover the era from the 1960s through the 1990s, with repertoires built on acts like The Who, Deep Purple, Fleetwood Mac and Jimi Hendrix. The sound is fully amplified, so the room matters more than it does for an acoustic booking: a low ceiling or a strict noise limit changes what a band can deliver, and the better acts ask about both before they quote.

Line-Ups and Stage Requirements

A four-piece of guitar, bass, drums and vocals is the usual format, with five- and six-piece line-ups adding keyboards or a second guitar for a fuller sound. Check the space before confirming: a full drum kit and two guitar rigs want roughly three metres (ten feet) of depth, and most bands need two or three standard power sockets near the stage rather than a single extension lead.

How the Evening Usually Runs

Most bands arrive two to three hours before the first song for load-in and soundcheck, which is worth building into the venue schedule if the room is in use beforehand. Two sets of 45 to 60 minutes is the standard booking, split by a break with recorded music. Where the venue has a curfew, work backwards from it when setting the start time instead of leaving the gap at the end of the night.

What Classic Rock Bands Charge

Rates in Lyon run from €170 to €2,700+, with most bookings landing near €900. Band size is the largest single factor, followed by travel, set length and whether the act needs to bring extra sound or lighting for a larger room. Learning a specific song for a first dance or a surprise moment usually carries a small additional fee.
