THE POWER TRIO
Why So Serious? is the raw energy of a full party band, concentrated into a trio.
Three musicians united by one mission: To carry your guests into a memorable evening.
Andrea, lead singer and guitarist, brings a magnetic presence. His warm, controlled voice, combined with natural charisma, turns each song into a shared moment.
Pierre, on drums or cajón, delivers power and groove that move the crowd: precise, explosive, irresistible !
Franck, bassist with a contagious smile, brings a bright energy as well as a second vocal that blends perfectly with Andrea’s voice.
The trio shines just as much in strolling format, with direct and interactive contact with the audience, as in an amplified party band setup, which they specialize in, ideal for kicking off dance parties with style.
In this format, Why So Serious? presents a tightly crafted show, with sharp transitions, an extensive repertoire, controlled sound, and a strong stage presence.
The result: a perfectly well-oiled stage act, ready to turn your event into an unforgettable memory.
THE BAND’S TOUCH TO MAKE YOUR EVENT STANDOUT :
Versatile: the band can perform in strolling format as well as in a more classic setup with sound system and microphones. Both formats can be combined during the same event.
Talented: a singer with a unique voice, an outstanding drummer, and a charismatic bassist, delivering a performance that leaves a lasting impression.
Reliable: Punctuality, professionalism, attention to detail and musicianship; nothing is left up to chance

Experience: the band has extensive experience performing at a wide range of events, consistently delivering high-level entertainment.

As a mobile, acoustic band, we do not require any equipment or sound checks for events with up to 230 guests. For larger gatherings, a wireless show might be required, and if so, we will send you a rider.
We just need the location
We are completely autonomous for up to 230. For larger events we can provide our sound equipment in locations up to 7 hours driving from Nice, France.
We also offer a premium DJ service, which includes background music during cocktail hour and dinner, plus a tailored set for the after-dinner party. This package comes with sound systems, microphones, and lights locations up to 7 hours driving from Nice, France. For events further away we require the sound system to be provided by the client.
Very little! The group being acoustic, there is no need for access to a power source.
A hot meal on site is greatly appreciated and will provide us with the fuel needed to give our very best from start to finish.
We would also love to retrieve some digital content from the photographer and videographer.
Not if we play roaming. For amplified events, the time necessary for installation/soundchecks is estimated on a case-by-case basis.
We normally arrive one hour before the performance and can offer either a 90-minute format, usually divided into 3 dynamic 30-minute sets, or a 120-minute format, usually divided into 3 dynamic 40-minute sets or 4 sets of 30 minutes, within a 6-hour presence time, in an acoustic roaming (itinerant) format. Additional sets and extra hours are available upon request. Upon request, we can also offer a static amplified party performance.
We are happy to play outside and do it very often
Clients can select the songs they would like (and would not like) us to play from our repertoire. They can also request a song that is not included in our setlist; however, depending on its complexity and the time we have to learn it, an additional fee may apply.
Previous clients most commonly describe our performances as high-energy, interactive, and incredibly tight musically. They often mention the powerful lead vocals, the irresistible groove, and how quickly we get guests singing along, dancing, and turning a dinner into a real party.
A roaming band, equally known as a strolling band, is an unplugged and therefore mobile group.
The musicians are free to mingle amongst the spectators making use of all the space to offer a personalised and interactive performance.
They sing without microphones.
We usually perform 90 or 120 minutes, and we can split the music into several shorter sets to fit your schedule (for example 3 x 30, 3 x 40, or 4 x 30), within a 6-hour on-site presence. Extra sets and hours can be added on request.
Our repertoire covers a wide range of styles and includes songs in several languages.
Every audience is different, so we adapt in real time to the vibe and keep things flowing naturally.
You are very welcome to pick a few must-play songs from our setlist, and once the party gets going, we recommend letting us take it from there.
A roaming band has no strong amplification. The concept involves bringing the music directly to the guests, passing between/around the groups or the tables.
