About / Biography

PARIS, MON AMOUR

The city of lights calls to mind café terraces, grand boulevards, romance, a moment suspended in time.

Formed by musicians friends for years, Café Crème brings a distinguished touch to your eventand has become the reference for strolling music based in Paris, alongside The Gentlemen.

Beyond their elegant allure and impeccable style, the four musicians stand out for their undeniable talent and infectious energy. Trained in some of the finest music schools in Paris, they are carried by the rich, sensitive voice of Enzo.

Their influences are wide and their sound remains refined, moving between soul, neo soul, pop, and jazz. The band also knows how to lift the atmosphere when the moment calls for it, with a gypsy, Italian, and rock repertoire.

Designed for luxury events and destination weddings, Café Crème delivers effortless refinement, and, when the atmosphere allows, raises the energy to create unforgettable memories.

Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

As a mobile, acoustic band, we do not require any equipment or sound checks for events with up to 230 guests. For larger gatherings, a wireless show might be required, and if so, we will send you a rider.

What information do you require about a venue?

We just need the location

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

We also offer a premium DJ service, which includes background music during cocktail hour and dinner, plus a tailored set for the after-dinner party. This package comes with sound systems, microphones, and lights locations up to 7 hours driving from Nice, France. For events further away we require the sound system to be provided by the client.

What do we need at the venue?

Very little! The group being acoustic, there is no need for access to a power source.

A hot meal on site is greatly appreciated and will provide us with the fuel needed to give our very best from start to finish.

We would also love to retrieve some digital content from the photographer and videographer.

Do we need to do a sound check?

Not if we play roaming. For amplified events, the time necessary for installation/soundchecks is estimated on a case-by-case basis.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

We normally arrive one hour before the performance and offer a 120-minute format, usually divided into 3 dynamic 40-minute sets, within a 6-hour presence time, in an acoustic roaming (itinerant) format. Additional sets and extra hours are available upon request. Upon request, we can also offer a static amplified party performance.

Are you happy to perform outside?

We are happy to play outside and do it very often

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

Clients can select the songs they would like (and would not like) us to play from our repertoire. They can also request a song that is not included in our setlist; however, depending on its complexity and the time we have to learn it, an additional fee may apply.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

We offer high-energy performances that elevate cocktail hours and dinners, getting everyone dancing, singing along, and stepping on chairs! We are known for our strong interaction with guests, contagious energy, and outstanding vocal harmonies

What is a roaming band?

A roaming band, equally known as a strolling band, is an unplugged and therefore mobile group.

The musicians are free to mingle amongst the spectators making use of all the space to offer a personalised and interactive performance.

They sing without microphones.

How long do we play for?

We usually perform 90 or 120 minutes, and we can split the music into several shorter sets to fit your schedule (for example 3 x 30, 3 x 40, or 4 x 30), within a 6-hour on-site presence. Extra sets and hours can be added on request.

What type of music do we play?

Our repertoire consists of a wide variety of songs, in different languages and in all styles.

We know that every audience is unique, so we improvise so as to adapt to each and every one of you.

Of course, you can choose specific titles from our setlist that you wish to hear but once the party starts, we advise you to leave it up to us!

What is the volume of a roaming band?

A strolling band has no strong amplification. The concept involves bringing the music directly to the guests, passing between/around the groups or the tables.

It is a close proximity performance loud enough to get over 150 people dancing.

It cannot be compared with the kind of volume produced by a DJ through his speakers, but that is not the objective.
