Classical Duos for Hire in Falmouth

The classical duos for hire come in a variety of instrument pairings, including violin and piano, violin and cello, flute and harp, guitar duo, and many other combinations. The right pairing depends on the style of music and atmosphere you want to create at your event.

Common events for classical duos include wedding ceremonies, drinks receptions, corporate dinners, private parties, gallery openings and any event where elegant live music is desired. A classical duo provides a refined sound that works well as background music or featured entertainment.

Many classical duos have a versatile repertoire that includes arrangements of popular songs, film scores, jazz standards and contemporary hits alongside classical pieces. It is worth checking each duo's profile for their full repertoire or contacting them with specific requests.

Most classical duos need very little: typically just chairs, adequate space and, for some instruments, access to a power outlet. For larger venues, a small amplification system may be useful. It is a good idea to confirm any specific needs with the musicians before the event.

Booking as early as possible increases the chance of securing your supplier's availability on your event date, particularly during busy times of the year. However, many suppliers also accept last minute bookings, and we have successfully arranged bookings for clients with just a few hours' notice.

Contact the supplier you are interested in booking by clicking "Contact Now" on their listing. Discuss your requirements using our messaging system or join a video meeting (like a Zoom-call) to speak face-to-face. Once you are ready to confirm your booking, simply ask the supplier to send you a contract, which you can agree to online, or request amendments. Once you agree to the contract you will be asked to pay a 10% booking fee to confirm the booking, with the balance payable directly to the supplier by the due date you've agreed on.
