We are a violin and piano duo based in Venice, and our technical needs are very simple. If the venue has a well-maintained acoustic piano or grand piano, we are happy to use it. If not, we can provide a professional digital piano along with the necessary sound equipment.
We only require a small performance area for two musicians, a standard power outlet, and easy access for setup. We regularly perform in churches, historic venues, and private locations in Venice and are used to adapting to different acoustics and spaces.
We mainly need clear directions to reach the venue and details on where we can unload and set up our equipment. It’s also helpful to know in advance whether a piano is available on site, if there are any access restrictions, and whether the venue has a sound limiter or specific volume rules.
Any timing details for setup and coordination with venue staff are appreciated, as they help us ensure everything runs smoothly on the day of the event.
Yes, we provide all the sound equipment needed for our performance, including a professional sound system suitable for most venues. When required, we can also supply a digital piano.
As an acoustic violin and piano duo, we do not use stage lighting, as our setup is designed to remain elegant and discreet, fitting naturally into churches, historic venues, and refined event spaces.
Yes, we can play background music from Spotify before the event and during breaks between our live performances. We’re happy to curate the playlist ourselves to match the atmosphere, or we can play a playlist chosen by the client. This helps maintain a smooth and continuous musical flow throughout the event.
One of our most memorable performances was playing for an intimate wedding in a historic Venetian palace overlooking the Grand Canal. The atmosphere was incredibly emotional and elegant, and the music became a central part of the experience rather than just a background element.
We’re fortunate to work regularly in beautiful venues throughout Venice, and historic palazzi and churches remain our favorite settings, where the acoustics and surroundings truly enhance the sound of violin and piano.
We enjoy performing at many different kinds of events, but our favourite is definitely weddings. Being part of such an emotional and meaningful day is always special, and live violin and piano add a unique elegance to the ceremony and reception. Every wedding is different, and we love creating a musical atmosphere that feels personal and unforgettable.
We began performing together while studying music, and over time we developed our repertoire and performance style as a duo. Since then, we’ve played at a wide variety of events across Venice and the surrounding region, including weddings, private parties, and cultural events. Our experience ranges from historic palaces and churches to modern venues, giving us the flexibility to adapt to any setting while ensuring a professional and memorable performance.
We draw inspiration from a wide range of classical and contemporary artists. In classical music, we love the works of Bach, Vivaldi, and Debussy for their emotional depth and timeless elegance. From a modern perspective, we enjoy artists like Ludovico Einaudi and Yiruma, whose piano compositions are both moving and widely appreciated.
It’s hard to pick a single “greatest song of all time,” but pieces like Vivaldi’s Four Seasons or Einaudi’s Nuvole Bianche never fail to captivate audiences and remain highlights in our performances.
Absolutely. As a violin and piano duo, we tailor our music to suit the atmosphere and style of each event. For weddings, we focus on elegant, emotional pieces; for private parties or receptions, we can create a livelier or more contemporary program. We’re happy to coordinate with clients to ensure the music perfectly matches the mood and timing of the event.
We usually arrive about 90–120 minutes before the performance to set up and soundcheck, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Our typical performance consists of 2 sets, each lasting 45–60 minutes, depending on the event. We’re happy to adjust the length of the sets if needed, but we’ve found this format works best for both us and the audience, keeping the music engaging throughout.
Yes, we’re happy to perform outdoors. We just ask for a shaded or covered area to protect the instruments, a flat and stable surface for setup, and access to a nearby power outlet if using a digital piano. We’ve performed in gardens, terraces, and historic squares in Venice, and always plan ahead to ensure the best sound and a smooth performance.
We are happy to accommodate client requests. Guests can choose songs from our existing repertoire, or we can select pieces ourselves to create a seamless and elegant musical flow. If there are special songs the client would like, we can often learn up to 3–5 new pieces in advance to include in the program, ensuring the music is personal and meaningful for the event.
Clients often describe our performances as elegant, emotive, and seamless. They appreciate how our violin and piano create a sophisticated and memorable atmosphere, whether during a ceremony, reception, or private event. Many note that the music feels both personal and professional, adding a special touch without ever being intrusive.
