Technical Information & Amplification

The Wedding Dreams duo usually works with the audio service provided by the venue or with the DJ selected for the event, ensuring a balanced and elegant sound throughout the day.

If no suitable sound system is available, we can provide our own professional audio technician and full amplification setup, including assembly and disassembly, for a fee of €500, plus travel expenses to reach the location.

Our trusted sound engineer ensures optimal and refined sound quality, perfectly adjusted for both indoor and outdoor settings.

To ensure the best sound quality and smooth organization, we kindly ask for the following details in advance:
Performance area – please specify whether we will perform indoors or outdoors.
For outdoor performances, a covered or shaded area (gazebo, canopy, or porch) is required to protect instruments from direct sunlight, wind, or moisture.
Power supply – at least one 220V electrical outlet within 10 meters of the setup.
Sound service or DJ – please indicate whether an existing sound system will be available or if you require our technician (€500 + travel costs).
Setup and access time – access to the performance area at least 1 hour before the event for setup and soundcheck.
Multiple performance areas – if the music will be needed in more than one location (e.g., ceremony + cocktail), please inform us in advance to plan timing and logistics.
Space requirements – approximately 3 x 2 meters for the duo and instruments.

🎻 Previous Experience & How We Started

Wedding Dreams was born from the shared passion of two classically trained string players who met while performing in orchestras and chamber ensembles across Italy. After years of playing in concert halls and theatres, we discovered how deeply people respond to live strings in personal settings — especially during weddings.

We began performing at intimate ceremonies for friends and colleagues, and word of mouth quickly led us to venues all over the country — from Venetian villas and Tuscan vineyards to elegant lakefront resorts.

Over the years, we’ve collaborated with leading wedding planners, DJs, and event designers, bringing our sound to both Italian and international couples. Our experience now spans hundreds of weddings and private events, each one unique, but all connected by the same goal: to create a timeless musical atmosphere that speaks straight to the heart.

As classical musicians, we’ve been deeply influenced by composers like Bach, Mozart, and Debussy — their balance of emotion and structure continues to shape our phrasing and ensemble work.

At the same time, we’re inspired by modern artists who know how to make melody timeless: Ludovico Einaudi, Ennio Morricone, and Andrea Bocelli remind us that beauty can live equally in simplicity and grandeur.

Our favourite artist to interpret, though, might be Ennio Morricone — his music speaks directly to the heart, and every arrangement for strings feels like storytelling without words.

As for the greatest song of all time… perhaps “What a Wonderful World”. It’s universal, emotional, and perfectly expresses what we try to bring to every performance — a sense of peace, love, and beauty that everyone can feel.

To secure your booking with the Wedding Dreams duo, we require:

A 50% deposit at the time of signing the contract to reserve the date.

The remaining balance to be paid 7 days before the event.

Payments via bank transfer

Our setup time is usually about 45 to 60 minutes before the start of the event. This allows us to unload our instruments, set up stands and amplification (if required), and do a short soundcheck to ensure perfect balance and tone in the space.

For weddings, our standard performance time is:

Ceremony: approximately 30 to 45 minutes, depending on the length and number of musical moments (prelude, entrance, signing, recessional).

Aperitif / Cocktail hour: typically 60 to 90 minutes of continuous or lightly spaced music, creating a relaxed and elegant atmosphere.

We are happy to adjust our timing to fit the flow of your day — from shorter, intimate ceremonies to extended receptions.

If the event involves multiple locations or setups (for example, ceremony in one area and aperitif in another), we’ll coordinate timing and logistics with the planner or DJ to ensure smooth transitions.
