Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

My setup is quite streamlined but still requires a few essential elements:

A reliable power supply for all electronic instruments and pedals
A clean amplification system (PA or amp) suitable for the venue size
At least one DI box for proper signal routing
A mixer channel with EQ and reverb control
Monitoring (floor monitors or in-ear monitors) so I can hear myself clearly
Enough space for my pedalboard and instrument setup

For larger performances, I may also require:

A sound engineer
Additional microphones or inputs for looping and effects

I always aim to adapt to the venue, but having a good-quality audio setup is key to delivering the best performance.

What information do you require about a venue?

To ensure the best performance, I usually need some key details about the venue in advance:

Stage size and layout – so I can plan my setup (especially for pedalboard and movement)
Power availability – number and location of power outlets
Sound system details – PA specifications, mixer, monitors, and available inputs
Acoustics of the space – whether it’s indoors/outdoors, reverberation, audience capacity
Technical support – whether a sound engineer will be present
Set times and schedule – including soundcheck availability
Lighting setup – especially for live performances or recordings
Access and logistics – parking, load-in/load-out details, stairs or elevators

Having this information in advance helps me adapt my setup and ensures a smooth and professional performance.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

I can provide a basic self-contained setup for smaller venues, including my instruments, pedalboard, and essential audio equipment.

However, for most performances, I rely on the venue to provide a professional PA system, monitoring, and lighting appropriate to the space.

If needed, I’m happy to coordinate with external suppliers or discuss additional technical requirements in advance to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, I can provide a Spotify-based background music service before and between my sets to help maintain the atmosphere and continuity of the event.

I curate playlists tailored to the mood and style of the occasion, ensuring a seamless musical experience throughout.

Please note that this is a light DJ-style service (playlist-based rather than live DJ mixing), but I’m happy to discuss specific genres or requests in advance.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

It’s always difficult to choose just one, as every performance has its own energy and story. That said, one of my most memorable gigs was a large-scale live event where the audience was incredibly engaged and the atmosphere felt electric from start to finish—those are the moments that really remind me why I love performing.
As for venues, I especially enjoy performing in unique or visually striking locations—such as historic buildings, outdoor settings, or modern architectural spaces—where the surroundings enhance the overall experience for both the audience and myself.
Ultimately, the “best” gig or venue comes down to the connection with the audience and the overall vibe. When everything aligns—sound, setting, and energy—it becomes truly unforgettable.

If you want, I can make it more specific (e.g., luxury weddings, corporate events, festivals) or invent a standout story 👍

What's your favourite type of event?

Wedding and events

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I come from a classical music background, having trained on both violin and cello from a young age. Over time, I developed a strong interest in contemporary and electronic music, which led me to explore electric instruments and live performance with effects and looping.

I started gigging through a mix of formal events, collaborations, and word of mouth—initially performing at private events, weddings, and small venues. As my style evolved and my setup became more refined, I began working at larger events, corporate functions, and more diverse performance spaces.

My experience now includes a wide range of settings, from intimate performances to large-scale events, and I’m comfortable adapting my repertoire and setup to suit different audiences and atmospheres.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

I’ve been influenced by a wide range of artists across classical, electronic, and contemporary music. From the classical world, composers like Johann Sebastian Bach and Ludwig van Beethoven shaped my musical foundation, while modern artists such as Ólafur Arnalds, Nils Frahm, and Lindsey Stirling have strongly influenced my approach to blending classical instruments with electronic elements.

It’s hard to choose a single favourite artist, as it often depends on the mood or project, but I’m particularly inspired by artists who push boundaries and create immersive sound worlds.

As for the greatest song of all time, that’s always subjective—but a piece like Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen is often considered iconic for its originality and lasting impact.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

My typical setup time is around 30–60 minutes, depending on the complexity of the technical setup and the venue conditions. This includes soundcheck and ensuring all equipment is properly configured.

Performance sets are usually 2 x 45 minutes or 3 x 30 minutes, but I’m flexible and can tailor the set lengths to suit the event schedule and requirements.

I usually arrive well in advance to allow for a smooth setup and am happy to coordinate timing with the event team or sound engineer.

Are you happy to perform outside?

yes

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

Clients are very welcome to have input on the music. I offer a flexible repertoire and am happy to tailor the set to suit the style and atmosphere of the event.

I have a curated setlist that works well in different settings, but I can also incorporate specific requests or preferred genres where possible. For special moments (such as ceremonies or key parts of an event), I’m happy to learn particular songs in advance with enough notice.

My goal is to create a personalised musical experience while ensuring a smooth and cohesive performance.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Previous clients most often describe my performances as captivating, elegant, and атмосферic, with a unique ability to elevate the mood of an event.

They frequently highlight the visual and musical impact of electric violin and cello, as well as how seamlessly the performance blends into the overall experience—whether as a focal point or as refined background ambiance.

Many also comment on my professionalism, adaptability, and attention to detail, from the planning stage through to the live performance.
