Most of what decides whether a booking runs smoothly is settled before the band arrives, and it depends on the room. Venues in Bowral, New South Wales, Australia range from function suites with a house PA and a fixed curfew to marquees and outdoor terraces where everything has to be carried in, and the same five-piece behaves quite differently in each.
A four or five-piece needs roughly 4 by 3 metres of flat, dry floor, more once a drum riser or a brass section is involved, plus two or three power sockets within reach of the stage area. Check the load-in route early, because stairs, a long carry from the car park, or a lift too small for a bass cabinet all add time, and some acts charge for it. Ask about a sound limiter before you commit to anything: a limiter set low will cut the power mid-song, and there is no way around it once you are there. Curfews work the same way, since an 11pm finish moves the whole running order earlier than most people expect.
Saturdays in peak season and the whole of December go first, often a year out, so the band you want can end up fixing your date rather than the other way round. Distance shows up on a quote as travel, and occasionally as accommodation when the finish time makes the drive home impractical. Friday and Sunday bookings widen the field considerably if the date is flexible. Ask what the travel figure covers, since some acts price it into the fee within a set radius and charge separately beyond it.
Most bookings in Bowral come in around $1,350 for two live sets, with duos and trios below that and larger lineups with brass or extra vocalists above it. What varies more than the headline figure is what sits inside it. Check what the quote covers: travel, a DJ set or playlist between sets, and how long the band plays in total rather than how many sets they perform. Most acts take a deposit to hold the date with the balance due close to the event, and overtime is normally charged in half-hour blocks, so agree the finish time in writing rather than on the night.
The average price for Cover Bands available in Bowral, New South Wales, Australia is $1,350 (AUD). Above you will also find a budget price and high end price. Contact the supplier you like for an accurate quote.

Young & Younger
"Amazing father and daughter duo who's cover music is fun, warm and sung with great harmony."
Risky Business
"Next gig you guys do, we're going to have to get someone on the door."
The Chameleonz
"They were fantastic. Everyone at our party was so impressed with the band. Nothing was too much trouble, and they even learned some songs especially for the party."
Duo Acoustic
"The band were amazing and really made our night. The guests were really enjoying the music as they are lively and the songs choice were great. Ed and Simone set up everything by themselves and Iet me worry free, also very easy to deal with, they even asked me what would i like them to wear also. They were perfectly in tune and everything was excellent."
The Covers Syndicate
"We had a DJ organised for my sons engagement party who pulled out on the morning of the party. Julian happened to be free and came and helped us out at short notice. There was torrential rain and ridiculous weather, he didn't hesitate to come, saving us a great deal of stress. Everyone had an absolute ball, Julian and his wife put on a wonderful night for us, they are both lovely people. The music was perfect for our variety of guests. They certainly know how to read a crowd for music and make your night an awesome event. We were so lucky to have found them."
Slumberjacks
"The band members, very respectful and responsible, arrived on time and were very professional at all times.
But honestly, we felt very disappointed that when contacting this band, we were specific about confirming if they played certain songs, certain artists, including rock and roll songs, which was the main concept of the party including decoration, etc. A party obviously centered on the birthday person for their 80th birthday, and the band played a selection of music that wasn’t what we requested. So, sorry for the honesty, but in that sense, we were very very disappointed. The idea was to hear the birthday person’s favorite songs, and that didn’t happen. That was the main reason we decided to invest in a band instead of going to a nightclub to listen to random music."
