Most of what decides whether a booking runs smoothly is settled before the band arrives, and it depends on the room. Venues in Denmark range from function suites with a house PA and a fixed curfew to marquees and outdoor terraces where everything has to be carried in, and the same five-piece behaves quite differently in each.
A four or five-piece needs roughly 4 by 3 metres of flat, dry floor, more once a drum riser or a brass section is involved, plus two or three power sockets within reach of the stage area. Check the load-in route early, because stairs, a long carry from the car park, or a lift too small for a bass cabinet all add time, and some acts charge for it. Ask about a sound limiter before you commit to anything: a limiter set low will cut the power mid-song, and there is no way around it once you are there. Curfews work the same way, since an 11pm finish moves the whole running order earlier than most people expect.
Saturdays in peak season and the whole of December go first, often a year out, so the band you want can end up fixing your date rather than the other way round. Distance shows up on a quote as travel, and occasionally as accommodation when the finish time makes the drive home impractical. Friday and Sunday bookings widen the field considerably if the date is flexible. Ask what the travel figure covers, since some acts price it into the fee within a set radius and charge separately beyond it.
Most bookings in Denmark come in around kr6,500 for two live sets, with duos and trios below that and larger lineups with brass or extra vocalists above it. What varies more than the headline figure is what sits inside it. Check what the quote covers: travel, a DJ set or playlist between sets, and how long the band plays in total rather than how many sets they perform. Most acts take a deposit to hold the date with the balance due close to the event, and overtime is normally charged in half-hour blocks, so agree the finish time in writing rather than on the night.

Giuliano Prandi
"Really good musician and very pleasant to work with. Good song selection, strong voice and a natural feel for the mood in the room without being intrusive. During the set, noticeably more people stayed than usual and the atmosphere just became more relaxed and lively. Fit perfectly into our venue. We would definitely book him again!!"
The Innocent (Denmark)
"We love this band! Having booked them 4 years ago for my partners 40th and getting so many comments from guests on how good they were, and how they made the party, we were delighted to have them available for my 40th this year. They did not disappoint. They have a perfect balance between cool indie and crowd pleasers which make them accessible for a party without being too corny. Book them if you have the chance!"
The Serenades
"We had Serenades perform at our welcome party for our wedding in Italy, and they were an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. Our welcome party was a relaxed pizza and pasta evening in the garden of our private villa, and they created exactly the atmosphere we had envisioned.
From the planning stage, their manager was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with. They worked closely with us on the schedule, set timings, and song selections, making the entire process seamless and stress-free.
The performance itself was fantastic. The musicians were excellent at reading the crowd and adjusting the set throughout the evening. They started with a more relaxed, elegant vibe as guests arrived, mingled, and enjoyed dinner, then gradually built the energy until everyone was singing, dancing, and having an amazing time. They struck the perfect balance and created exactly the ambiance we had hoped for.
The band members were also wonderful with our guests: friendly, charming, and incredibly professional. They happily accommodated my requests and feedback throughout the evening, adapting in real time without missing a beat.
Our guests couldn't stop complimenting the band all night long. They brought so much energy, warmth, and fun to the celebration, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend Serenades for any wedding or special event."

"We hired Versionika to play as our band at our Wedding in Mallorca in Sept 2026! They were absolutely amazing, playing all the hits to get the guests to the dancefloor. It was a perfect start to the party and all the guests mentioned how fun they were on the night! We can recommend everyone to hire Versionika as their wedding band! Thanks guys!"
