Most of what decides whether a booking runs smoothly is settled before the band arrives, and it depends on the room. Venues in Middlesbrough, England, United Kingdom range from function suites with a house PA and a fixed curfew to marquees and outdoor terraces where everything has to be carried in, and the same five-piece behaves quite differently in each.
A four or five-piece needs roughly 4 by 3 metres of flat, dry floor, more once a drum riser or a brass section is involved, plus two or three power sockets within reach of the stage area. Check the load-in route early, because stairs, a long carry from the car park, or a lift too small for a bass cabinet all add time, and some acts charge for it. Ask about a sound limiter before you commit to anything: a limiter set low will cut the power mid-song, and there is no way around it once you are there. Curfews work the same way, since an 11pm finish moves the whole running order earlier than most people expect.
Saturdays in peak season and the whole of December go first, often a year out, so the band you want can end up fixing your date rather than the other way round. Distance shows up on a quote as travel, and occasionally as accommodation when the finish time makes the drive home impractical. Friday and Sunday bookings widen the field considerably if the date is flexible. Ask what the travel figure covers, since some acts price it into the fee within a set radius and charge separately beyond it.
Most bookings in Middlesbrough come in around £700 for two live sets, with duos and trios below that and larger lineups with brass or extra vocalists above it. What varies more than the headline figure is what sits inside it. Check what the quote covers: travel, a DJ set or playlist between sets, and how long the band plays in total rather than how many sets they perform. Most acts take a deposit to hold the date with the balance due close to the event, and overtime is normally charged in half-hour blocks, so agree the finish time in writing rather than on the night.
The average price for Cover Bands available in Middlesbrough, England, United Kingdom is £700 (GBP). Above you will also find a budget price and high end price. Contact the supplier you like for an accurate quote.
Let It Bleed
"What can I say, what an amazing band! Booked for the celebration of life for my dad who was a massive stones fan and it was better than I could have ever imagined. The sound was great, not gimmicky, just a great band playing the best stones song. 80 guests and everyone said how good they were. One thing that sets the bar high for them is I asked for a song that isn't typically found on a stones set list but holds deep sentiment to myself, with only a weeks notice I didn't think they'd be able to do it....and they did! Such a lovely way to remember my dad....he would have absolutely loved it! Thank you so much guys!
P.s. sorry it took so long to write this review!"
Rolling Over Band
"The band performed at my wedding and we were pleasantly surprised and couldn’t be happier with the band’s performance. They are true professionals, and we would gladly invite them to perform at one of our events again."
Krystal Live Band
"This band is simply fabulous! I organized a party with about 120 people, young and the most "old" and I have never seen such an atmosphere. The next day my guests only talked about that. The musical level is stunning, the set list is great, the sound is exceptional (it plays loud but you never have the impression that it hits your ears. I wonder how they come to this result!) The beautiful light show coordinated with the music. In short, great art. And not to spoil anything they are just adorable."
Atul Gautam
"Atul was fantastic for our private event we had at home. I will definitely recommend and use him again for any other events we have"
Drummer/Percussion
"I got a great review directly from the client on the venue. She mentioned that she searched widely for th kind of sound and performance I do and she was extremely happy in the end."
Versus
"Versus played my 25th class reunion! Their mix of 80s, 90s and current hits were ON POINT! They had our crowd dancing all night! These guys put on a fun show, sound great and are consummate professionals!
Highly recommend!"
