Booking an event DJ in Linz, Upper Austria, Austria usually starts with a short brief: date, venue, guest numbers and the kind of night you want. Quotes tend to come back within a day or two, and most DJs will offer a call to run through the plan before you confirm. The strongest candidates ask as many questions as they answer, from timings to what the room is like.
Most setups need a table or booth space near a power supply and 60 to 90 minutes to load in and sound-check before guests arrive. Tell the DJ about stairs, long carry routes or upstairs function rooms when you enquire, since they move heavy speakers and stands. Some venues fit sound limiters that cut power when volume crosses a set threshold; a DJ who knows this in advance can configure their rig to stay under it. Outdoor receptions and marquee events need dry, covered ground and a reliable power source, so agree those details with the venue early.
A strong event DJ builds the night around your brief rather than a fixed routine. Share a shortlist of must-play tracks, anything to avoid, and the shape of the evening, from arrival music through dinner to the main dance set. Decide in advance whether guests can request songs on the night, and mention any themed or multilingual sets you need so the DJ can prepare the right library. Most are happy to source specific tracks ahead of the event if given notice.
Most DJs in Linz quote per event rather than per hour, with evening bookings running from €95 to €1,250+ and typical spends around €360. Hourly figures usually only appear for short add-on slots or extra time at the end of the night. When comparing quotes, check what is included: sound equipment, lighting, setup time and travel are normally built in, while uplighting, an extended set or a separate system for a second room adds to the fee. December dates and peak-season weekends are the first to go, so confirm your date as soon as the venue is settled.
The average price for Event DJs available in Linz, Upper Austria, Austria is €360 (EUR). Above you will also find a budget price and high end price. Contact the supplier you like for an accurate quote.

Eric Tchaikovsky
"While looking for entertainers for my wife's birthday, I came across Eric`s profile; although I already had five other options lined up for the party, his program struck me as the most unique and vibrant. Eric treated us and our guests to a musical journey through his personal vinyl collection, did a fantastic job as the event host, and later teamed up with a colleague to put on an amazing electronic DJ-set.
My wife and her guests (47 people in total) were thoroughly impressed by the evening and have mentioned about it many times since.
I highly recommend Eric and his team if you want to host a truly memorable and lively event."

"Those of you Clerkenwell types who frequent the Slaughtered Lamb or
19:20 can not have failed to notice an new industry resident on Great Sutton
Street.
Desso's impressive carpet portfolio can now be viewed at the company's smart new showroom - and, naturally, the design community was invited along for a sneak preview, and much more.
Guests were treated to top live music and not just the superior Desso flooring products to whet their whistles.
We must congratulate all involved, as the evening attracted an impressive array of those specifying types, as well as the usual thursday night Clerken-crowd.
To use the Editor's favourite saying, it was smoother than n otter's pocket."
Saxobeatz
"Saxobeatz were amazing, I knew they were going to be good from all the pre event comms and the videos I had seen but they were so flexible with all of our needs for the event and brought such high energy.
Will 100% be using them again and can not thank them enough for everything!"
Shashank Bhati
"We saw him live in a bar and booked him immediately. He played at our wedding in Leipzig, absolutely professional and at the same time very nice. It was like having a personal DJ. Great music selection for all age groups. We had so much fun, we stayed up until 4 in the morning, drunk and wild, haha."
DJ IceFreez
"We had Marek at our wedding and I can only recommend him. Communication was great, friendly and fast. He took care of hosting the evening, the program and everything was natural and professional.
Music was important to us because we only had friends and young people at our wedding and we wanted to have a really good time ourselves. It was quite a challenge for me to find someone who can detach themselves from the wedding and just throw a proper modern party. Most DJs only have photos or wedding clips on their websites.
Because Marek also plays at parties and has a club background, I dared to choose him blindly and I consider my task accomplished. It was a proper ride and we were more than satisfied with the music selection, mixing, sense of fun and also the length of play and respect for our wishlist.
One participant summed it up by saying that it's good the stage burned down at Tomorrowland, because at least Marek could come to us. That probably says it all :) Thanks!"
Dj WEBB
"One hell of a DJ. One of the best I know. Made our day really unforgetable and took care that nobody was seating till the en of the party. Did I mention his huge collection of vinyls?"
