Booking an event DJ in Como, Lombardy, Italy usually starts with a short brief: date, venue, guest numbers and the kind of night you want. Quotes tend to come back within a day or two, and most DJs will offer a call to run through the plan before you confirm. The strongest candidates ask as many questions as they answer, from timings to what the room is like.
Most setups need a table or booth space near a power supply and 60 to 90 minutes to load in and sound-check before guests arrive. Tell the DJ about stairs, long carry routes or upstairs function rooms when you enquire, since they move heavy speakers and stands. Some venues fit sound limiters that cut power when volume crosses a set threshold; a DJ who knows this in advance can configure their rig to stay under it. Outdoor receptions and marquee events need dry, covered ground and a reliable power source, so agree those details with the venue early.
A strong event DJ builds the night around your brief rather than a fixed routine. Share a shortlist of must-play tracks, anything to avoid, and the shape of the evening, from arrival music through dinner to the main dance set. Decide in advance whether guests can request songs on the night, and mention any themed or multilingual sets you need so the DJ can prepare the right library. Most are happy to source specific tracks ahead of the event if given notice.
Most DJs in Como quote per event rather than per hour, with evening bookings running from €95 to €1,250+ and typical spends around €380. Hourly figures usually only appear for short add-on slots or extra time at the end of the night. When comparing quotes, check what is included: sound equipment, lighting, setup time and travel are normally built in, while uplighting, an extended set or a separate system for a second room adds to the fee. December dates and peak-season weekends are the first to go, so confirm your date as soon as the venue is settled.
The average price for Event DJs available in Como, Lombardy, Italy is €380 (EUR). Above you will also find a budget price and high end price. Contact the supplier you like for an accurate quote.

🔥 L82DP — World-Class Club DJ’s
"We were staying at the Hotel Real Albana in Zermatt for New Year’s Eve and happened to walk past a private party where L82DP were performing. We never expected to stay, but the music pulled us in immediately.
As an older couple, we never imagined we would enjoy Afro House this much, yet the atmosphere they created was impossible to resist. The energy was joyful, the rhythm infectious, and soon we found ourselves dancing like we hadn’t in years.
It turned into one of the most unforgettable New Year’s Eves we’ve ever experienced. L82DP made us feel young again, and we left with the biggest smiles on our faces. Truly magical."
Alex Frost DJ
"I think Alex is a great DJ, he's always really flexible, he's versatile, he always reacts to the crowd. He's not a DJ that will just come up unprepared, he always works on a lot of his stuff beforehand. Really highly recommend him."
Vdj Lele
"Dj Lele was attentive, engaging, and always attentive to creating the right atmosphere throughout the day. He was able to adapt the music to the different phases of the ceremony with great sensitivity, even enthusiastically accepting our suggestions."
DJ Tammy
"Always available, professional, and great fun!
Renato was the DJ for our wedding here in Italy, and he certainly lived up to expectations! Always attentive, available, and communicative throughout the planning process, he brought great expertise and wonderfully positive energy to the event. It was a pleasure having him with us on the day."
DJ Douglas Jones
"Steve Taylor — 20 September 2023
Wedding In Chamonix, France
"Douglas was recommended to us by a very close friend; we needed someone for our wedding in Chamonix. We had around 60 people travelling from the UK and we needed someone we could trust to put on a great party for us. Douglas did just that. From first contact he made us feel like we were in safe hands. He helped us create a set list with our friend and managed his part with the venue so we didn’t have anything to worry about. The night was way beyond our wildest expectations; from the first track until the last one, the floor was full. Music to suit everyone from my 85-year-old father in law to the ravers in the group. I cannot recommend Douglas highly enough."
AWI - Saxophone | Didgeridoo | DJ
"AWI delivered an outstanding performance at our business event and created an atmosphere that impressed everyone. His mix of saxophone, didgeridoo, and DJ elements added a unique and memorable touch to the evening. Guests kept complimenting the music and the special vibe he brought to the room. We would book him again without hesitation for any future event.
Thanks AWI!"
